Guest Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 I'm lanky(ish), have no muscles, am far too shy and such a wimp.Only the blind or desperate would be interested I bet you do yourself a disservice. No doubt Katy will be telling you off for saying such things next week. You can perhaps take the limelight away from me in that respect.

Anyway, walshie will be there to keep me company , and we're going as friends (if she likes me) before any speculation starts

I'm sure you and AOWW will get on fine. In a platonic fashion, of course.

So we could have a situation where both of us are waiting hours for one of us to speak first? I'm sure we will, I'm sure I'll like all of you
Sparky Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 No i mean The Saturdays are the new girls aloud when GA were good 4, 5 years ago.If youve seen GA live you will see they cant dance, and hear they cant sing. If you heard them on GMTV singing live the other week they were fooking awful. If youve seen the PCD live they actually perform hard dance routines perfectly in time, GA just shakes their bums a bit and nothing else. If youve just seen The Saturdays live on loose women a minute ago, NOT miming, they are clearly better singers than GA. BTW i aint obsessed with all these girl bands and do not stalk them Watched Girls Allowed at V fest and was pretty suprised as they put on a bloody good show , in fairness far better than i expected
Floating Fox Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 yeah the ginger one looks like a horse, and the other one looks like a man Your a pillock. The ginger one is top notch. And the Ginger one of out GA is ****ing top notch too. I think I like gingers...
Katy Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 I was under the impression you were a fan, which is why I have never posted how I think she not only sounds awful, but she has to be one of the worst dancers I have ever seen. Yes, even worse than me.I didn't want to offend, you see. What on earth gave you that idea? I guessed you weren't being serious. That is what you're saying.... If I'm perfectly honest, I use these threads to compare myself with. I hate to say it that all of the GA girls are prettier than me, even the ginger one. You really have to stop this Lease I'm lanky(ish), have no muscles, am far too shy and such a wimp.Only the blind or desperate would be interested So do you I bet you do yourself a disservice. No doubt Katy will be telling you off for saying such things next week. You can perhaps take the limelight away from me in that respect. Correct. Believe it or not, I am very shy, so I know what it's like.I'm sure you and AOWW will get on fine. In a platonic fashion, of course. That's bollocks

I hate to say it that all of the GA girls are prettier than me, even the ginger one. You shouldn't compare your self in these threads (unless your being sarcastic, which I apologise) everyone has beauty in all sorts of ways. Whether it be internally or externally, I am sure you have qualities that the air brushed models/pictures on this thread couldn't compare to.
Koke Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Everyone is beautiful in their own way. These models/singers spend a colossal amount of money on brushing themselves up, so the comparison is not fair at all - Everyone has to start from a level playing field.
Guest Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 So we could have a situation where both of us are waiting hours for one of us to speak first? Hahahahahaha The way I deal with my shyness and lack of self-esteem is to behave in totally the opposite way, I am afraid. What on earth gave you that idea? You were singing that "Warwick Avenue" crap once. You really have to stop this Lease Sorry, but a) I can't help it, and b) it's true in any case. So do you Told ya, Corks! You shouldn't compare your self in these threads (unless your being sarcastic, which I apologise) everyone has beauty in all sorts of ways. Whether it be internally or externally, I am sure you have qualities that the air brushed models/pictures on this thread couldn't compare to. I'm not being sarcastic. I also know all of the tricks that are used, the airbrushing, the personal trainers and starvation programmes before video and photo shoots, but if your head is already messed up in the first place, logical reasoning doesn't come into the equation.

These models/singers spend a colossal amount of money on brushing themselves up, so the comparison is not fair at all - Everyone has to start from a level playing field. And to add to this, albeit a disappointment, in the magazine pictures alot of airbrushing goes on. Although when seeing them live I guess you get the real thing!
Katy Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 You were singing that "Warwick Avenue" crap once. Haha that's because me and Cobbo parked on said Warwick Avenue in Quorn when we played them pre season. It was an opportunity not to be missed. Doesn't mean I'm a fan no siree!

Katy Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 That's a relief. I was worried about your standards slipping. Never. My musical taste is impeccable

Corky Posted 9 January 2009 Author Posted 9 January 2009 So do youCorrect. I can't help it, and please don't tell me off Hahahahahaha The way I deal with my shyness and lack of self-esteem is to behave in totally the opposite way, I am afraid. Told ya, Corks! My nerves are slightly settled. Slightly.
Katy Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 I can't help it, and please don't tell me off My nerves are slightly settled. Slightly. I'm not going to tell you off like that Corks, I have low self esteem but it makes me feel better bigging other people up. Everyone has good points and sometimes it takes someone else to point them out for you to realise it.

I suppose I criticise myself so it doesn't hurt too much when others do it. Anyway, I look forward to meeting you, standing with you, talking to you and getting to know people a bit better. Having someone there that I've met will also help
