Unit Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 it'll be some shit like when he did the seance and it was pre-recorded or when he did russian roullette with just blanks in it. pfffffff
dogadug Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 There is no way he'll be able to predict the lotto numbers, but its intriguing as to what he'll do.
Matt Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Wonder if he's bought a ticket or it's something that he can only do right as it's happening.Or just a hoax. I read C4 have banned him from buying a ticket.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 I read C4 have banned him from buying a ticket. Haha deary me, why are they bothered if he does and how can they stop him?
Granno Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 I've seen him live twice, well worth the cash. Looking forward to this new stuff.
Matt Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Haha deary me, why are they bothered if he does and how can they stop him? I thought he should buy one if it does actually happen give the winnings to charity - Would boost Derren Brown and Channel 4's popularity - Would leave questions over how he did it and the national lottery, but if he actually predicts right it's going to leave question's over how he did it and the national lottery anyway.

Actually thinking about it it's probably best he doesn't buy a ticket. If he gets it right then he could surely do it everytime, and if he kept buying tickets and winning then well the situation would get ridiculous. I've nothing against the bloke, but I'd find it funny if he got it completely wrong (and my numbers came up instead ).
Joe. Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 There's no way anybody can predict the lottery numbers just like that, so I'm genuinely intrigued as to how he's going to do it.
Granno Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 There's no way anybody can predict the lottery numbers just like that, so I'm genuinely intrigued as to how he's going to do it. It will be interesting, but I honestly think he can do it.
lildave3 Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 There's no way anybody can predict the lottery numbers just like that, so I'm genuinely intrigued as to how he's going to do it. I could.
Matt Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 Apparently Derren Brown is banned from every Casino in the country, and my mate claims anyone called Derren Brown is banned from Casino's in America (I'd guess he meant - The Derren Brown is banned, not just anyone called said name)
Joe. Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 It will be interesting, but I honestly think he can do it. Yeah I'm not doubting he can do it, but I'm just wondering as to what the logical explanation of it all is.
dandannieldanok Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 I could. So why aren't you a millionaire already?
lildave3 Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 So why aren't you a millionaire already? How do you know i'm not? Eh? Eh? Eh? EH!
dandannieldanok Posted 8 September 2009 Posted 8 September 2009 How do you know i'm not?Eh? Eh? Eh? EH! You'd be boasting, I certainly bloody would.
syston_fox Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 Yeah I'm not doubting he can do it, but I'm just wondering as to what the logical explanation of it all is. Hopefully he's not cheating like he did in "The System" where he predicted all those horse races in a row. The russian roulete one was clever though. Watched that again the other week and you can see exactly how he manipulates people to do what he wants once you pay attention near the end.
Unabomber Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 Looking forward to this, although saw his most recent live show and wasn't impressed at all.

If it's like the horse racing one, then Channel 4/Derren Brown has just spent £14 odd mill buying every single lottery ticket combination.

syston_fox Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 If it's like the horse racing one, then Channel 4/Derren Brown has just spent £14 odd mill buying every single lottery ticket combination. Or saved some money and just filmed every combination over the last 6 months or so. And I wouldn't put it past him - look at that time he flipped 10 heads in a row on the coin when really they just kept filming non-stop for about 10 hours until it did happen and then only showed you that bit of footage.
Granno Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 Lots of theories flying around, the main one being a play on the time delay between analogue and digital tv.
Fox You Forest Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 Is 14 million around about the right amount of number combinations or is that just a wild guess, that's alot of filming and people to keep quiet if so. Although he did say he's been working on them for a year.

Although he did say he's been working on them for a year. Correct, there are 14 million and something possible combinations to win the Lotto.
syston_fox Posted 9 September 2009 Posted 9 September 2009 I think it's safe to say that he will get every number right and everyone will be amazed but come friday when he tells us how he did it, we will all be left feeling cheated.
