Joe. Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Be typical for us to win this after ****ing up the third test in the way we did wouldn't it?
dandannieldanok Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Graeme Swann is a definite shout for England's man of the series, especially on these flat pitches, quality effort this innings.
Joe. Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Gayle was clearly out just then. Would have made a big difference.
Corky Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Going to be tough to do it now. Swann's bowled excellently.
Fox You Forest Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 I'm fed up of seeing that women in the red top, aint she got some washing to do or something!
Sparky Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 good effort from the bowlers , did Strauss go on too long again
SamL Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Gutted. Excellent effort from our bowlers, especially James Anderson.
Fox You Forest Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 good effort from the bowlers , did Strauss go on too long again Beefy sounds none too happy again.
Corky Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Strauss delayed the declaration too long. The West Indies never wanted to win, if we'd been 55 ahead and declared they'd have played for the draw. Anderson and Swann bowled really well, but this is a bad result.

Corky Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Monty? Suppose, but I felt Anderson and Swann were better overall.
Fox You Forest Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Suppose, but I felt Anderson and Swann were better overall. Anderson was easily the best bowler. I'm probably on my own but I'd have Monty over Swann and day of the week.
purpleronnie Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Yet again we waited too long. How many times are we going to do it?. Should have more faith. But it was a lot closer than I thought it would be, but we lost and thats all that matters. Hopefully the next series will be played on decent wickets.
Milky Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 The declaration was far too late again! What happened to "we'll risk losing in order to win". Some fooking risk taking that was. Clowns!! Everyone can see it apart from the men that matter
Corky Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Anderson was easily the best bowler.I'm probably on my own but I'd have Monty over Swann and day of the week. At the moment I'd have Swann, to be honest. Milky, we should've declared earlier, you're right. West Indies were never even going to chase 180, we were waiting for Pietersen to get his hundred.
