At least learn this : Jesus never wrote the Bible. He brought the Gospels, which is a small part of the New Testament. Most of that I.e Paul, Matthew and all them other names were written long after Jesus died. And you honestly believe Jesus never existed? Mental Once again you have made up utter sh*te about what I've said... where did I say Jesus wrote the Bible???? Hmm??? Oh that's right... I didn't. Perhaps I should make this clear... perhaps there was a person called Jesus who lived and was someone who people looked to for help and guidance back then but the idea that he turned water to wine and parted water is just tosh that has been made up for the Bible and it's THAT that I can't believe and refuse to.

Jesus had over a million followers before he died. He tried to stop oppression and other things. Very brave. Totally different to most human beings ever.I don't believe he is God though. Ive never said that we weren't created but what im trying to get across is that a man in a beard didn't drop adam and eve onto this earth and the rest is history. There is something which created the big bang and it is highly unlikely it is a god. If a god or gods existed who created him? Foxyarmy, you make some good points. What you need to know though is that most people don't believe God is a man. God is just a word for that power you talk about when you say "there is something that created the big bang". The man with the beard is just something painted in the last 1000 years or so. I totally agree with you, a man with a beard didn't drop the first humans. Don't forget people didn't have technology or brain power as we did today. How come we all of a sudden don't have these jesus/noah/joseph characters anymore? Has god packed his bags?

You said that some of the stuff the Bible says about Jesus you don't like or something along those lines. I've tried to say over and over that the Bible cannot be trusted anymore whatsoever. If you watched QI last night, there was a Pope/person in the church in the 4th century who could, get this, read without talking out loud or moving his lips!! Everyone was astounded!! And thought he was weird!!

If a god or gods existed who created him? for some reason people cannot accept that we are the most intelligent creatures on this earth just by accident so they use the excuse that someone created us . i dont believe someone created us i believe it was all molecules and atoms but ofcourse thats too simple so people believe that a bloke on a cloud with a beard created the heavens and the earth and created life as we know it. also Jesus didnt exist there has never been any proof that a man that could do the things that are mentioned in the bible well not around the time that it was supposed to happen there was a man about 1000 years before but wasnt jesus but supposedly did the things that are mentioned in the bible.

Well said... right load of mumbo jumbo... he pulled the wool over a few people's eyes and everyone else was more than happy to follow. There is no, I repeat, NO proof or evidence that he did anything particularly special that the likes of say MLKing didn't do in more recent times... the Bible has just blown it out of all proportion.

And most of modern science is due to scientists up to 1000 years ago. The best mathmeticians were Islamic thinkers. And most of the great names in science all believed in an unseen power. jonno24 Posted 21 February 2009 Posted 21 February 2009 tbh i believe that the universe is more complex than we can ever imagine and the forces that are at play in the universewe will never be able to comprehend its like people who think there hard there is always someone out there that can knock 7 shades out of you its the same with intelligence we think that we are the most intelligent beings out there but im certain that there are species out there that are 100 times more intelligent than us.

Of course there brains were the same but what I meant to say was people didn't have the same intelligence in technology as we did today. Word was spread by mouth not t.v. You didn't have science labs and people didn't know what a atom or molecule was. There were definitely clever people as there has always been in all walks of life throughout the centuries. The egyptians created the wheel, says it all but it doesn't mean they were clever enough to decipher that the sun was not a god?

Yes we are made up from atoms, but you stated that it was a fact that we were created from the Big Bang, and I was just pointing out it can't be a fact seeing as there is no proof.
