maddog Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Could be going back to Blackburn IF Robinson is out for their next game or 2 or more. "1336: The games at West Ham and Hull are back under way. Jason Brown replaces injured Blackburn keeper Paul Robinson, the 26-year-old making only his second appearance for the club". FROM BBC.
Matt Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 I forget when we signed him but he is only here for the month anyway and that must be close to coming to an end? A week or two left? How far is Martin from coming back?
Fosse Boy Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 That quote says absolutely fuck all about Bunn. Talk about sensationalist...
maddog Posted 1 March 2009 Author Posted 1 March 2009 That quote says absolutely fuck all about Bunn. Talk about sensationalist... Why would it say anything about Bunn It says Robinson has gone of injured you tit, therefore they may recall bunn early. You'll pick up on anything to disagree with me no matter what i post
dandannieldanok Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 That quote says absolutely fuck all about Bunn. Talk about sensationalist... True, but it doesn't take a genius to deduce that if Robinson is injured then Allardyce may want to exercise the recall option and have Bunn back to cover Jason Brown.
Babylon Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 That quote says absolutely fuck all about Bunn. Talk about sensationalist... Not really, Bunn was their reserve keeper and as was said at the time they did us a favour loaning up. It would make sense that they would want back their usual number two rather than playing the third choice!
Cropwellfox Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Robinson has gone to hospital for an X-ray, and Blackburn have a league game on Weds. Bye Bye Bunn! Wonder who Pearson has in his sights now - at the time Bunn came in he mentioned the 24 hour recall and said he'd need to have other options just in case...
dandannieldanok Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Pentney starting Tuesday? :w00t: Wouldn't be surprised if Pearson rushes Martin back despite Pentney's impressive debut.
davieG Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 First time I've seen Bunn and I was hugely unimpressed. Looked hesitant on crosses and where were all these quick throws I've been hearing about as for his kicking certainly not any better than Martin or Henderson.
Daggers Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 who says they have a recall clause They have a 24hr recall clause, this is fact.
Cropwellfox Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Reckon if Bunn goes there'll be another loannee in for Tues. Someone like Tim Krul from Newcastle possibly...
Jimmy Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 They have a 24hr recall clause, this is fact. they also have plenty of keepers we don't even know how bad Robinson's injury is... btw Bunn hasn't been their no 2 most of the season, Brown for the most part has been their sub keeper
Narborough_fox Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Couple of jokes about Bunn. when he makes an absoloutely great catch we should call him sticky bunn and then if he makes a mistake in the summer we could call him hot cross Bunn. Sorry there poor but oh well. He is a great keeper and I have seen the 1st goal for MK Dons and being a keeeper myself and having that exact same shot today I think he had no chance.
Jimmy Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Reckon if Bunn goes there'll be another loannee in for Tues. Someone like Tim Krul from Newcastle possibly... he is their only other senior keeper since Given was sold

Freezing cold day... iced bunn?

Therefore making sense for him to be recalled...
Jimmy Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Yes, but if he was number 3, then he'd be the reserve now wouldn't he? Therefore making sense for him to be recalled... not if its only for a couple of weeks, they have some decent young keepers that can sit and bench warm
Jimmy Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 "He's gone for a precautionary x-ray," said the Rovers boss after the game. "We don't think the damage is too severe, but he's gone just in case." Big Sam on Robinson's injury
