Meh. This should have been locked from the first response, it's basically a personal attack. If Thracian wants a chance to reply later he can PM me and I'll let him have the final word.

There's no need for me to rehash what Monk said, he was spot on. A lot of Thracian's posts are alarmist and probably designed to get a reaction but he does often know what he's on about and does offer an alternative opinion a lot of the time.

The place would be a lot more boring without him where as I think I'd cope without Ollie_Whatever.

Thrach is probably the person that I disagree with most in my whole life let alone just on FT. We are like a pair of kids at times picking faults with each other's arguments I'm sure it annoys the hell out of others to see us chirping.

However, an unfounded piece of shit like that is neither welcome nor true. Thrach has his views (which of course are all wrong) but he is a massive part of the success of this board.
