Finchy Posted 18 June 2009 Posted 18 June 2009 Hero mate Any chance you could do a few more like this purely for lazy reasons so I don't have to spend ages looking for bands that are at the fests? yeah sure I like searching for new bands n that. Which festivals were you thinking or just random bands playing the festivals?
filbertway Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 yeah sure I like searching for new bands n that.Which festivals were you thinking or just random bands playing the festivals? Random bands that are playing leeds fest please? Any bands that aren't on the main stage really as I've pretty much heard all of them.
Joe. Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 Here is a playlist for Reading/Leeds '09 with one song from every band at the festival (that I could find on Spotify anyway). Not listened to it through yet so there's probably a lot of shite on there. If I wasn't familiar with a band I just chose the most popular track. Oh, I said there was one of every band. I lied. I missed off most of the Lockup stage music becase let's face it, nobody likes it.

StanSP Posted 19 June 2009 Author Posted 19 June 2009 The solution that RADIAN gave on the following link worked for me http://getsatisfaction.com/spotify/topics/...=widget_spotify

StanSP Posted 19 June 2009 Author Posted 19 June 2009 Just looking through the playlist - you picked Rooftops for Lostprophets. Tut tut . Last Train Home or Last Summer would have been better . But going through in alphabetical order. First two songs are alright
Libertine Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 We could use this for the CD Swap. No need for downloads then.
Lillehamring Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 We could use this for the CD Swap. No need for downloads then. apart from the obvious fact that it is a long way from having enough unusual stuff... i really like spotify but so much stuff i like isn't on it yet... they don't even have 'dreamtime' by daryl hall hey! the smiley layout has changed!

They don't have A LOT of stuff. But overall it's still a good service. And yeah I noticed that smiley layout aswell. I don't like change!
Joe. Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 To be fair, it has got quite a lot of obscure stuff that generally people haven't heard of. It's not that bad unless you like really obscure music.

I used to like that. He should have got rid of that moustachioed fool Oates much earlier
Finnegan Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 How broad is what's available on it? Is it all fairly mainstream? Better than just browsing around youtube?
Libertine Posted 19 June 2009 Posted 19 June 2009 Better than just browsing around youtube? Pretty much yeh.

General Smuts Posted 21 June 2009 Posted 21 June 2009 It's not... Apparently not. Must have been cos i was on at work which is a French server.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 22 June 2009 Posted 22 June 2009 Most of Morrissey's back catalogue is on there, so there's no need to worry
