Guest Bilo Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 Pre-ordered today but was still told that my chances of getting a ticket hang in the balance. I've left it too late haven't I?
Katy Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 Pre-ordered today but was still told that my chances of getting a ticket hang in the balance. I've left it too late haven't I? Are you a P3 Season Ticket holder? I think it's just down to the small allocation we have and nothing to do with leaving it too late.
Guest Bilo Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 Are you a P3 Season Ticket holder? I think it's just down to the small allocation we have and nothing to do with leaving it too late. I am P3. And will be next season as I've only been able to make four away games this season. My own fault for being a skint part-timer I guess. The allocation isn't that small though. We are getting around 2100 and I'm sure we only have about 1300 P1s and P2s. I could be wrong though.

I am P3 too, there's a discussion on how many Priorities we have in the Priority thread. I guess it's just a case of wait and see and hopefully there will be none of the underhand tactics that accompanied the MK Dons debacle for the remaining three aways.

A case of wait and see it is then! If there are underhand tactics going on, I will be extremely peeved as this is one of the games I've been looking forward to since the fixture list was released. The trouble is that everybody will want to go for the last three games as promotion seemingly looms, even those who haven't been to an away game all season. I have everything crossed.
Daggers Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 ...hopefully there will be none of the underhand tactics that accompanied the MK Dons debacle for the remaining three aways. I think you can guarantee that this will happen - saving grace is that not being local many people will be put off doing the M25 and the A127.

Every fooking work day Katy - when you getting yours? Gimme a tinkle and ill get involved if general sale is the same as P3.

P3 will be the Wednesday me duck, General sale will be the friday should there be any left (which is more than doubtful) I'll be lucky to get one at this rate, let alone you.

Sparky Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 And the Ticket Office people. Bloody hell , chances going down by the minute
Katy Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Bloody hell , chances going down by the minute It will be like queuing for Wembley tickets all over again for the last three away games I reckon. People will literally be camping outside the ticket office overnight at this rate
Ford Super Sunday Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 I am scared shitless now I have read this... I might actually get doen the TO at about 7:30-8am on the Wednesday at this rate. Two good reasons, obviously it would be a great day out, sun shining, great game of football... but if I make it to Southend , Hereford and Crewe, then I get the magical 13 away games STRESSSSSSSSSS
lcfcadam Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Pre-ordered today but was still told that my chances of getting a ticket hang in the balance. I've left it too late haven't I? Still can't understand what P3's are actually doing when they say 'pre-ordering'. Do you mean just sending an email that'll get processed on the Wednesday morning? If so, it makes it seem a bit worthless going down and standing outside the ticket office at 8 o'clock as I've done for Dons and Peterborough (though I've also been to Scunny, Leeds, Bristol and Millwall so that shouldn't classify me as one of the complete part-timers), if other people are getting the tickets first through emails... If someone could explain the way with the best chance of success of getting tickets for these last 3 games as a P3 holder, I'd love to have it clarified!

It's not the case for the last three aways games though. If there are any tickets left on the Wednesdays then they will be issued on a first come, first served basis so they won't be dealing with emails I don't think. Bilo probably means he filled in a 'pre-order' form which you can get from the ticket office.
Guest Bilo Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Bilo probably means he filled in a 'pre-order' form which you can get from the ticket office. That I do. They process those orders before processing any others apparently. Not 100% sure on how it works but it does improve your chances of getting a ticket when demand is high.

It takes a while to process e-mails's. Simply City open up their inbox on the Wednesday morning from 7.30am onwards (2 peeeps at tops) and try dishing out the tickets. Of course, once 9am reaches and everyone gets through in person - selling tickets by person is quicker than processing the e-mails.
Maybes Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 On this.Saving/Poker wins will fund it. I have to win at the casino, otherwise my overdraft gets further increased Im driving this mo'fo.
