BlabyFox Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 I'll go for disappointing draw with peterborough closing the gap to 2 points.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Leicester 2 (Fryatt, Howard) Carlisle 1 (Bridges)
dandannieldanok Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Win, with Howard back we'll have a lot more attacking impetus, Carlisle are on the slide also.
AmericanScott Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Leicester 2 (Fryatt, Howard)Carlisle 1 (Bridges) Coming for a few beers before the game Rob?
colbo68 Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 I'll go for disappointing draw with peterborough closing the gap to 2 points. no dont agree, we will beat Carlisle cos even though we are currently fookin awfu, they are worse. I think we'll lost to Leeds, but will just scrape champions Losing faith in Pearson though - playin Dickov and Stales yesterday was just inexplicable - Chambers should have been on least on the bench
Guest Bilo Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Coming for a few beers before the game Rob? Can't make it on Saturday for the first time since December. Will be working back in Skeggy for Grand National I'm afraid. But will be there in spirit if not in body!

Guest Bilo Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 NOOO my life is ruined Gues it'll just be Phil and i haha On the plus side, we do seem to win when I'm not there. Three points guaranteed! Probably.
maddog Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Ey up 2-0 loss as ive not done the optimeter as i was waiting until Monday to do it.
Thracian Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 It's impossible to be sure of City any more. The fear factor has gone despite us being at the top of the League and freefalling Carlisle will be fighting to save their season. Leicester need to impose themselves on the game and not take the pressure off one bit. But there have been worrying signs lately - not just concerning personnel, but our inability to be first to the ball the longer the game wears on. Peterborough and Tranmere emphasised the point no end. Both teams had a vigour and determination we seem to be lacking. Our spirit of adventure has gone too. We seem to be playing footballing chess instead of imposing ourselves on games and I don't like it. I've gone for a win but out of loyalty rather than conviction because, man for man, we've been losing far too many battles in far too many places lately and it has to stop.
Dan Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 Fryatt to score the only goal of the game on 5 mins, with a real frustrating game.
Legend_in_blue Posted 29 March 2009 Posted 29 March 2009 This is a must win game. Simply a must win. It's like being part of the season run-in from last year. We know what we need to do - but seem to be doing everything and anything possible not to make it easy for ourselves. We need 8 points from somewhere. May as well start with these 3. Tbh, Leeds and S****horpe to come? I don't fancy it.
MC Prussian Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 Well, a win would be nice again. Carlisle are struggling massively. In a free-fall recently, even though they started the season really well. I feel the wind changing direction. Did somebody say Howard? Steve Howard?
Fox92 Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 Even so, with Carlisle struggling and City sitting top of the league - who's going for a Carlisle win? I always fear when we play sides that are struggling.
AmericanScott Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 Just had a thought. I might put money on for Carlisle to beat us. So either way, i'll be a happy man. Unless we draw
Ford Super Sunday Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 1-1 In fact, when I go down to the bookies to have a flutter on the Grand national, I will be putting a pound on this inevitable result
StanSP Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 Going for a big win. 4-0 or 5-0. I don't care what recent form has been like. Fryatt 2, Oakley and Howard
FilboFox Posted 30 March 2009 Posted 30 March 2009 3-1 to us... I think with Howard back, we'll be more aggressive going forward so we'll be able to get a few and win this! Lets just hope Posh lose eh!
Tilley Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Hope Howard scores a few, I really do. Can see a wanky, boring, frustrating 0-0 draw, alongside a Posh win.
maddog Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Saying 'we will win now Howards back' is foolish. He played in 4 out of 5 of those awful home draws. I certainly can't see another home draw, got to be a win or defeat.
