Firstly, and totally off topic, but...

IT'S NOT THE FRIGGING KOP!! I'm 17 years old and even I know it's the Gelderd. Lets keep it that way instead of all following suit and having a "Kop", yeah? Leave that nonsense to Liverpool.

Right, thankyou for that moment. In answer to you, I cannot actually give you an answer. As just stated, i'm a 17 year old lad, who's first game was in 1995. I can only assure you that from my time supporting Leeds United, I have not witnessed racist songs myself. I have had to sit through countless songs about Matt Busby and his boys, who apparently made such a noise, and to be fair, I find that sickening. If i'd ever heard racist chanting at ER, i'd report it to the stewards immediatly, then request to be given a seat elsewhere in the ground. However, i've never had to do that, as i've never heard it. This is not to say its not been done, as with every club, there are racists, even Leicester. I can only try and assure you that it is now an extreme minority that are under this mentality, and I assure you that the majority see them as a disgrace to Leeds United FC. With regards to this being the first time you have not heard racist chants, well, this is apparently the first time since 2000 that Leeds have not had Turkish songs thrown at us from your end. Its all give and take really.

And even on WACCOE, it is the minority that are racist. Again they are a disgrace to Leeds United, but they are there, and we have to be mature enough to look past it, because they simply wont. If you ever look on WACCOE, you will notice so clearly the same people who are posting this pathetic discrimination, and that just goes to show how it is the minority. The only reason it stands out is because it is so extreme in cases, and is so popular by the minority. If the majority stood up to it, then of course it would be no contest - What you have to udnerstand though, is what are we meant to do? Tell them they're naughty boys with misguided views? Whats that gonna do? Of course, its gonna make them speak their minds louder, and to more extreme lengths. I'm not making excuses for them, believe me, i'm just saying how it is from my viewpoint.

If given the chance, you'd easily see that the majority of Leeds United is not racist (i'm talking VAST majority here). It is such a shame that those that are take it to such extreme lengths, but thats just how it is. They're a disgrace, but there's not a lot we can do.

No, at leicester the prefered abuse is reserved for calling players 'rapists' and some mild homophobia....

as for the highlighted paragraph - as you rightly say there is a bad element connected to all clubs, but on a forum it doesn't have to be tolerated, some of the stuff on waccoe just wouldn't be seen here, and if it was, the offending party would be shown the door.

i respect your right to defend your board, but to close your eyes and just say 'boys will be boys' is tantamount to agreeing with them; and it is extreme, from one of the leicester threads i read on there, it looks like at least one moderator seems to encourage and join in (not racism but) judgemental, ignorant aggressive posting

so - "what are you meant to do" - ban them clear them out and stand up for you board, you are a new generation of leeds fan, by the sound of it, and if the moderators aren't banning some of the vile stuff on there, then i'd be looking for somewhere else to post...

good luck with that.

Getting back to the game, don`t underestimate the part Dickov had in the finsh. When he came on he ran his socks off, worked like a terrier and won the corner that led to the goal, when with 60 seconds to go would have been easy not to challenge and let the ref blow for a draw when the goal kick was taken.

He earnt his money yesterday well done Dickov!

Give me strength. This'll be my last post here as we'll now be concentrating on this weekends tie against Tranmere

I'm more annoyed that the Sky Cameras apparently muted the crowd out, both during our 25 minute "We All Love Leeds" and during your celebration towards the end. Spoil-Sports!

Jesus christ, there was no muting. If you guys had a ounce of knowledge and didn't just assume then you would know why it went quiet at parts. There are several microphones located around a ground for live tv.

In this particular case when the ball went in either half they were using the mics in that half to generate sound. This is done so when people are watching at home in HD with there big fook off surround sound kits,

it sounds like they are in the ground were the ball is.

It is no coincidence it when quiet when the ball went into the half which did not contain your supporters and then went loud when the ball was in the half nearer to your supporters.

So don't come out with this sky is against us bollocks.

You're telling me then that the tele coverage replicated the noise that you made when Howard headed home fairly?

BOLLOCKS my friend. BOLLOCKS!

Mate who cares? i for one was too busy jumping up and down whilst simultaneously screaming my lungs out to give a flying toss about the sound quality!

I for one was too busy stunned into silence <_< But yeah, it just annoys me a bit that it happens in such matches. They'd dare not do it to the top four.

Oakley - I thought he was immense yesterday, he was my man of the match and set an example of intent, aggression and willingness to fight for every ball. Ok his corners were poor but with both Dyer and Gradel playing it was vital for us for the central midfield to be strong.

All this and playing along side King in midfield where I think most people would say they haven't managed to do the same very often this year in fact many have called for him to play on the right and for a far more aggressive King.

Whilst I was delighted with them as pairing yesterday I'd like to know where this Oakley has been for a long stretch of the season. This is not meant to be slagging him off although it might seem like that, I actually rate the guy quite highly.

He was obviously highly motivated yesterday and he'll need to repeat that sort of performance more often if/when we get promoted.

I do get what your saying actually, is it me or are the highlights on MOTD really quiet?

I don't actually know what your trying to say? :dunno:

Im just trying to get it through to your lot that there was no muting involved. I was trying to give you an insight of how sky operate on a live match day basis as I have first hand experience and was hopping you would tell your chums at waccoe the real reason why at parts there was a dip in noise level.

This isn't a sky conspiracy against Leeds lol

If you want to believe your delusional nonsense then go ahead.

When you have a degree in audio engineering then come back and we will talk.

Tbh Sky have nothing on the BBC.

God Save the Queen at 32085238 decibels, Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau consistently muted.

Oh, but it's okay, we get to listen to Katherine Jenkins.

We're talking about a dip in noise level during YOUR celebrations though. Dont you find it peculiar that the noise range goes up, then down, then up again, at such random times? Its nothing like it was at the ground. Unless there is some highly sophisticated reason for it, I can only assume that it was a case of muting.

Maybe they do mute it, I don't know I dont really care but the only case where there is a definate muting is when Leeds fans start singing "ITV is fooking shit"

Like ive said it's purely down to the 5.1 surround sound to cater for the HD heads. Im guessing you didn't watch in surround sound meaning that it would sound like dips in the sound on a two channel stereo tv.

Helps if they dont drop the microphone into the fans though
