CosbehFox Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 The main reason they think they drowned out our celebrations will be because the mics are placed all round the ground, including some near the away end.Absolute bollox really. If watched any highlights or the game on telly, the bloody microphones make the place sound like a right buzzing atmosphere. It was alive but it seemed on Hamburg-esque scale when watching it last night. Anfield's the worst for microphone positioning - there's about 20 positioned in front of the Kop before an European game.
Corky Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 This is all very well but do you know the lass in the purple top that I want to shag? What did she look like?

I'm more annoyed that the Sky Cameras apparently muted the crowd out, both during our 25 minute "We All Love Leeds" and during your celebration towards the end. Spoil-Sports! ^^^ No pun intended!

Bellend Sebastian Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 What did she look like? Slim, wavy brown hair. Face not contorted with bitterness
Tilley Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Slim, wavy brown hair. Face not contorted with bitterness I thought who she was with was her dad!?
Babylon Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 When the FA starting handing out 3 points for the loudest fans each game Leeds might get out of Division 3. As it is their bobbins football team has no chance... without Beckford they would finish in the bottom half.
Tilley Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I will Kevin Keegan it if they fail in the play-offs.
Babylon Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I will Kevin Keegan it if they fail in the play-offs. As long as they sing louder than the other fans that's all that matters... anyone would think they are on X-factor.
Tilley Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 As long as they sing louder than the other fans that's all that matters... anyone would think they are on X-factor. I don't want Leeds, Millwall or MK to go up. I'll take a Tranmere or Scunthorpe play off win.
Shrenchel Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I will Kevin Keegan it if they fail in the play-offs. Would you rather go MK ****** or Elland Road? Would you rather have another game/set of away fans like yesterday or some Tim Lovejoy JCLs sitting down with a songbook thats even worse than ours??

I have to say I think they were the best team to come to the Walkers this season but we were just fantastic all over the park. On another day, if we had played as we did against Colchester/Swindon/Brighton etc, they could have rolled us over.
Babylon Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I bet the RSPCA had a rise in cases of abused whippets yesterday.
TonyDorigo Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I bet the RSPCA had a rise in cases of abused whippets yesterday. Another one thats happier to get a win over Leeds Utd than pretty much secure promotion. Form a queue?
Babylon Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Yeah I know, our recent form of 1 loss in the last 12 games is pretty darn pathetic, no? Form is temporary, class is permanent... We've lost 4 all season to your 14.
Babylon Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Another one thats happier to get a win over Leeds Utd than pretty much secure promotion. Form a queue? No, i'm definitely happier about getting (nearly) promoted. The fact is was over you just made it all the sweeter.
A fox for life Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 What a coincidence. I left my scarf at Arsenal a few years back. I was going to ask you to pick it up for me, but i think i'll be there before you will.Enjoy your year in the CCC x Oh thats what that was i thought it was the bog roll i was ment to use... sorry
TonyDorigo Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Form is temporary, class is permanent... We've lost 4 all season to your 14. Surely it is dependant on the people around your club at the time? For example, a lot of our defeats came under Macca. It would be unfair to hold that above the current side, which holds a different style of play, different concepts and even different players. Well done on your terrific season, although you seem to have forgot that class has to start somewhere. In my opinion, it got started at Elland Road again on the 26th December.
lavrentis Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Babylon, I love that Max Gradel Pic. If I only I had seen it first

In all seriousness he will get you promoted, if not this year then next. As long as you get some of the money to spend on players to replace Beckford and Delph (who looked pretty ordinary IMO). The only reason I'm anti Leeds is the fact people on WACCOE are complete muppets, it's not just the odd one it's virtually the whole place except for a couple. And before you say anything about me being "obsessed" I go on all the boards of oppo fans and can talk with them about the games. It's impossible on WACCOE, the majority are so deluded it's scary. Is there another forum where sensible Leeds fans actually congregate?
Babylon Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Babylon, I love that Max Gradel Pic. If I only I had seen it first I know... it's now mine. I may loan it out for a fee though.
