Daggers Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 That is the worst comeback I've heard in all of these arguments! Absolutely pathetic! You really are a tosser aren't you, let me guess you're going to come back at me calling me a bigger tosser. It'd be the first accurate thing he's posted if he does...
Alexikokopops Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 yes but im not boasting of how hard, big and strong and am - am i??? look at my guns....kiss them rarrrrr! The_Risk gears up for another round of internet war

Munzie Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 F.T.A.O. The_Risk, If I were you, I would seriously consider channelling all your energy into getting behind your team. If you are going to persist with your "we'll be in the Championship with you" thinking, they're going to need all your support. You have a massive game on Saturday and have teams around you that are more than capable of shattering you dreams of a play-off place. If you do make the play-offs, with your track record, I'm not sure you'll realise your target. In fact, I'm off to the bookmakers to place a rather large bet on you having to ply your trade in the third division next year. If When I win, I'll get you a new scarf to replace the one you lost.
TonyDorigo Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Give me strength. This'll be my last post here as we'll now be concentrating on this weekends tie against Tranmere, but some of you really do talk a lot of pre-judged nonsense. You call us deluded and arrogant. Why shouldnt we be as positive as possible? Oh sorry, I forgot, it's Leeds United, any time we have the negative result we should call for heads, or look out for relegation, yes? Dont be so moronic, Leicester. We'll focus on every single positive we can draw out in order to keep upbeat and confident for another tough tie this weekend (And as already listed, not just by me, but even by the more sensible/educated Leicester fans on here, there ARE more positives than just our fantastic support). Also, i'm pretty sure any Leeds fan on here that came on this thread CONGRATULATED you on your imminent promotion. You call us deluded/arrogant? How? Surely congratulating you here is accepting defeat? I dont see in any way arrogance in that. You want arrogance? Ask the extra thousands who turned up in their annual Leicester blue. I'm sure they'll know what arrogant is, they certainly gave a good account of it yesterday anyway. Also, for those talking about how it was one song that out-sung you, i'd look at TV highlights. When that goal goes in, and your crowd goes "wild", you'll hear a familiar tune coming from our corner above your promotion celebrations. Pretty pathetic that we can outsing THAT MOMENT, eh? Obviously, this is aimed at unfortunately arrogant/pathetic members of this forum. Most have seemed to concentrate on your own triumphs yesterday. Shame it cant be said for the like of the OP, who still holds some delight in beating "Dirty Leeds". Funny, I wonder if some of you know that you're nearly promoted. Ah well. Maybe over the summer those fans towards the Leeds fans left side yesterday can give a lesson to the rest of your "support", as you were very good... all 500 of you.

Watch the highlights again on TV and I think you'll agree that you're single boring chant was completely drowned out, you probably heard as you were in the middle of it, numptie.
Raj Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I've just watched the highlights again. Do you know what's great? Even Astrit, whose not even played 90 minutes for the club, was up off the bench celebrating the goal like mad yesterday.I think that's fantastic. Too true. Its all about camaraderie..... Danny Camaraderie.... er...fcuk off then....
Guest Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I forgot my scarf at Colchester earlier in the season. Could you please pick it up for me next season when you go there. Cheers x Our average attendance is 19785. Yours is just over 3000 more at 23101 (Source). Given that Leeds is over twice the size of Leicester I wouldn't be bragging that much about attendances. It seems that whenever Leeds fans come on here that we always end up with the same discussion about number of fans. They never seem to quite grasp that they have a much larger population for such a small margin on average attendances it's pretty poor on their part
andyh1884 Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 What a coincidence. I left my scarf at Arsenal a few years back. I was going to ask you to pick it up for me, but i think i'll be there before you will.Enjoy your year in the CCC x I think they've moved grounds since the last time you were there. Your rag is probably being used as a dishcloth in one of the lovely new apartments at Highbury

Whatever you say about Leeds their support was amazing. They outsung us for the majority of the game. Marching On Together on about 85 minutes was awesome. I disagree with TonyDorigo about them outsinging us during our celebrations though, I couldn't hear any of them then.

Posters from other clubs like you will always be accepted on this forum, as you can actually have a mature, detailed and pretty good talk about football. We both know that both clubs have a set of "fans" that are just morons, and it's a shame really. I'm very jealous of your vocal support, certainly the best we've had since Man Utd in 2003 here. I was one of the 500 to the left of the Leeds fans, and every game, I try my best to give my all for the players. Yesterday, your fans were stood from bottom to top, singing and cheering on your team. We took 4,500 "fans" to MK Dons, and it was one of the most pathetic away followings we've had this season, if not the most. People were even sat down on the back row! I said to my mate, if only we were that good away from home, this season would be a lot better than it already has been for us, because we've had a lot of new experiences this season, in different grounds, yet we've failed to make the most of it for the majority. Good luck in the play-offs. Whatever you say about Leeds their support was amazing. They outsung us for the majority of the game. Marching On Together on about 85 minutes was awesome. I disagree with TonyDorigo about them outsinging us during our celebrations though, I couldn't hear any of them then. I didn't even hear Chelsea Dagger when we scored!

Gotta give em credit for the noise and constant singing BUT when the goal went in they were(FACT) stunned into silence.

They never seem to quite grasp that they have a much larger population for such a small margin on average attendances it's pretty poor on their part They can have a million fans. It's ours who are enjoying the afterglow of an honest victory and contemplating life back in the Championship while our northern friends have to worry, once again, whether a representative of the lowly underserving should pip them, once again, in the play-offs. Not a nice prospect that and something I'm mighty glad we've avoided.

I neglected to mention that this was during the period we scored, I fully agree that they outsung us during the game, but so did we when we were away at theirs.
lou Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Shows how much team spirit is there when NP said that Cleverley and Gilbert were in the dressing room with the lads before the game and at half time lending their support. This is a new era for our club......... NP has got everyone fired up and CARING about eachother as a team should. Its been a long time coming.
Raj Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Re Tony Dorigo Like Bert said you were posting half decent stuff for a rival supporter but you just had to spoil it with the dig about you lot singing when we scored. Come on......you know thats a lie. Apologise and all will be forgiven!!!
Corky Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I didn't even hear Chelsea Dagger when we scored! I hardly noticed it- which was great. The club delaying it being played was good.

Come on......you know thats a lie. Apologise and all will be forgiven!!! Sorry, after reading it I have kind of tripped over my own words. Of course it was not at the moment when you scored. As already been mentioned we were stunned into silence, although I think anyone wouldve been at that moment. It was the moment at full time where MOT could be heard over the cheers! Thankyou for correcting me! BTW, any chance you guys wont be using Dyer next season? Wanna swap for Sweeney? I hardly noticed it- which was great. The club delaying it being played was good. You clearly noticed it then...
Craig Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 The main reason they think they drowned out our celebrations will be because the mics are placed all round the ground, including some near the away end. Absolute bollox really.

Corky Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 You clearly noticed it then... Yes I did, but not nearly as much as I normally do, which was pleasant

Tilley Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I just watched it again on Sky. Truly amazing, Steve I love you. Beating Leeds 1-0 with 10 seconds to play to all but secure promotion, lovely.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 That'll be the extra fans coming for the big day out. This is all very well but do you know the lass in the purple top that I want to shag?
