Daggers Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I think it is unfair to ask just those of us with wives to contribute. How about a second verse for those with girlfriends? And a third for the middle-aged virgins and youngsters amongst us who live with their mums or have a half-decent sister?

Call me a sad lefty with no sense of humour but it's never been my favourite song. I'm sure we could do better by Maxi than this. Perhaps if I were married I'd find it funnier, but somehow I don't think so.

Webbo Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I want silky skills tooooooYou're welcome by the way... I always thought it was 'love your silky skills tooooo'.

philce Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I always thought it was 'love your silky skills tooooo'. Thats what I and everyone around me sings anyway!
Simi Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Thats what I and everyone around me sings anyway! Well that's not how it went down when we first started it at Fulham. It's also not.."Up the football here we go". Yet some fools still sing that!
Fosse Boy Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Well that's not how it went down when we first started it at Fulham. It's also not.."Up the football here we go". Yet some fools still sing that! Really?
philce Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Well that's not how it went down when we first started it at Fulham. It's also not.."Up the football here we go". Yet some fools still sing that! So what was the original then? God if they don't know that now then they never will! Thats from the Brian Little days!

Katy Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Well that's not how it went down when we first started it at Fulham. It's also not.."Up the football here we go". Yet some fools still sing that! That's outrageous!
Daggers Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Could they not just offer themselves up? I'm really not sure, and I'm not making any judgements about Maxi's sexuality, that he'd be up for it no matter how keen Ultra is.

lou Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I hate the Gradel song coz I cant really sing it......... due to the fact I dont have a wife and I wouldnt want him touchin her if I did!
Fatbloke Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 This song is moronic and total shite, Hardly anyone sings it now and it needs to go into the same asylum at the dead heads that sing it ! Max needs a song for sure but a plain and simple football song that everyone will sing and enjoy, maybe the one we used to sing for TC ?
Daggers Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Hardly anyone sings it now It's sung by the hard-core of travelling supporters and those who sing all game, each and every home match. Knock yourself out if you think it's moronic, that's your choice, but I've heard it sung lustily at every match since it started.
