maddog Posted 21 April 2009 Posted 21 April 2009 In order of CANNOT FOOKING WAIT:Providing the top and bottom 3 of prem + champs stay the same and Cardiff + MK Dons win the play-offs win play-offs. Palace Sheff United Forest Derby Blackpool Bristol City Newcastle Peterborough Barnsley Albion QPR Burnley (Tues night please) Preston Sheff Wed Swansea Watford Doncaster Ipswich 'Boro Plymouth Coventry Reading MK Dons Rather embarassingly i've only been to 6 grounds on that list But been to 4 of them twice I was at Southend though
Dan Posted 21 April 2009 Posted 21 April 2009 Blackburn are cheaper than Leicester are in Div 1 Why am I not surprised.
Turtles Head Posted 21 April 2009 Posted 21 April 2009 Would love to go blackpool and newcastle. Definately going to go to both games in Sheffield, as i live here! Assuming united don't go up.... Possibly Watford too as my brother lives there
Scow Posted 21 April 2009 Posted 21 April 2009 Hull I'm looking forward to some more excellent hospitality. Excited about the usual ones: Derby and Forest of course; Sheffield United/Wednesday as easy on the train; any London game and Newcastle.
lcfc_jme Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Daggers Posted 22 April 2009 Posted 22 April 2009 I've written off the trip to Newcastle. Seeing as I'll only be Priority 1 I don't stand a chance of getting tickets for this after everyone else with super-secret big-game-only priority gets theirs in first.
Joe. Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Just looked at getting to Newcastle from Eastbourne (hopeful uni destination) next season. Around a 720 mile round trip, and naturally very expensive (£70-odd on train?!). Even looked at flying from Gatwick, which is possible (but still £60). Even getting the train from Leicester is around £50, just a warning to those looking to go by rail next season. That's from what I can see anyway...

Yeah we found that when looking to go earlier this season. If you want to go then train isn't a realistic option. I think even breaking the journey down still cost an arm and a leg.

I think even breaking the journey down still cost an arm and a leg. It doesn't make a difference really. You have to go via Peterborough. Getting there from Leicester is cheap enough but once you have to get from there to Newcastle it's a bitch. Looks like it's either the car or FT for everybody then. I'll only be able to go to this if it's not in term time I suppose....
Fez of Mahrez Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Think you'd be better off looking at prices to Hull sadly.

They have a couple of winnable home games and take 6 points from them and they should be fine. Just in case though.... you driving C-man?
flanimal Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I haven't been to an away game for ages (not for want of trying). Anyone be OK with me tagging along? Y'know, if I buy the brews, and don't cause too much trouble?

I'm going to look into how much it costs from Grantham, I know there's no changes as it's on the London Kings Cross to Edinburgh line. Think you'd be better off looking at prices to Hull sadly. Keep the faith and all that.
Munzie Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Newcastle's worthy of an overnight stay. Fantastic night out on the toon! A tad more expensive but worth it. Same as Leeds games. A good night out post-match can always be found.

flanimal Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 You don't have to ask permission mate - just turn up and make yourself known at away games. You mean meet up before, or just turn up randomly on my own to a different stadium and hope someone will take pity on me?
Granno Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 You mean meet up before, or just turn up randomly on my own to a different stadium and hope someone will take pity on me? Worked for me
Scow Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I will probably drive to this one. <_< I love the fact that most of us have relegated Newcastle already.
leftsideoverhere Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 You mean meet up before, or just turn up randomly on my own to a different stadium and hope someone will take pity on me? Probably best to buy a ticket first, and check Leicester are actually playing, but yeah, otherwise, that should do the trick!

leicesterseddon Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Yeah, but AIDs isn't a problem if you take a shower afterwards. A Geordie told me that's what he does. i didn't know jacob zuma is a geordie.... my preferences next season are: Florest, Derby, Sheff Wed, Brizzle City...would like Stoke to come back down, but you can't have everything <_<
Guest Bilo Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Sheffield United Sheffield Wednesday Leeds (if they come up) Forest Derby Coventry Donny Rovers Palace Millwall (if they come up) Peterborough Barnsley Newcastle (if they go down) West Brom Enough for P1 methinks. EDIT: Forgot about QPR, Blackpool, Watford and Burnley. Amnesia kicking in.
