lcfc_jme Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Any ground in the Yorkshire area so I have a guaranteed place to sleep on a weekender for those. Also PALARSE as well as my very local derby with Forest, not to mention the EPIC that is Blackpool. Next season will be all about new grounds and favourite old haunts for me.
Fox92 Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 With my predictions, the Coca-Cola Championship should look something like this. Southampton and Barnsley to join Charlton Athletic in League 1. Sheffield United to nick second, thus causing Birmingham City to have a play off place - but they will win the play offs. Also up, Wolves. With us already there, Peterborough United should settle for second. And Leeds have shown that there strong enough for the play offs. The division itself; Blackpool Bristol City Burnley Cardiff City Coventry City Crystal Palace Derby County Doncaster Rovers Ipswich Town Leeds United Leicester City Middlesborough Newcastle United Norwich City Nottingham Forest Peterborough United Plymouth Argyle Preston North End Queens Park Rangers Reading Sheffield Wednesday Swansea City Watford West Bromwich Albion ___ New grounds: The Keepmoat Stadium - Doncaster Rovers St. Davids' Stadium - Cardiff City The Liberty Stadium - Swansea City The grounds in BOLD are the ones I have not been to [except the new ones, listed above] so I am looking forward to them. Looking forward to them all really - BRING ON THE CHAMPIONSHIP! The derbies are going to be awesome in Coventry, Derby and Notingham Forest. Newcastle and Middlesborough should be good if they come down. Also, the dreaded Hillsborough - never miss that!
Tilley Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Forest, Derby, Newcastle, Doncaster, Bristol City, Sheff Wed/Utd, Burnley, Blackpool, Palace, QPR, Swansea.. Everything bar Cov & Plymouth.
lavrentis Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 I have a feeling Donny will be ace even though its a new stadium.
Floating Fox Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 I have a feeling Donny will be ace even though its a new stadium. It wont.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Main : COV - I H8 COV , derby , forest , mill?, leeds? Then hopin 4 : Norwich 2 Trips 2 to steel city , Newcastle DEFO, Middlesborough hull ?
CosbehFox Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 It wont. It's alright. Rather Northampton esque really - just a little bit nearer to the town.
Unabomber Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Any Yorkshire ones, seeing as im at uni in sheffield. Sheff United away last season was epic, it's basically one long pub crawl down from my flat to the ground.
Finnegan Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Couple of votes for QPR on there, don't see why. Horrible little ground with a wank atmosphere. The home support are awful n'all. Palace is alright, though, for the London games.

London Ground - bit like Filbo. Nice and easy on tube (on the line for some decent drinking holes). I like Loftus Road, one of a dying breed of ground. Only downside is the probable price of tickets.

Joe. Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Hopefully I'll be at uni down near Brighton next year, so all the Southern games are very welcome. As always the London games (and there's plenty of them) are something to look forward to. Wouldn't like to miss Derby and Forest away either (Coventry can fuck off), as well as at least one Sheffield away to go see Ched, Tommeh and C-Man at uni. Bring it on! Oh, and Eastbourne to Newcastle. It's on.
Floating Fox Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 It's alright. Rather Northampton esque really - just a little bit nearer to the town. Its not really anything like Northampton Couple of votes for QPR on there, don't see why.Horrible little ground with a wank atmosphere. The home support are awful n'all. Palace is alright, though, for the London games. QPR is awfull. Suppose it is London though.

In a ground that's less than 50% full? Do me a favour
Finnegan Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 QPR is awfull. Suppose it is London though. We agree for once.
Joe. Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Blackburn if they go down would be superb. Is this potentially the worst call ever?
CosbehFox Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Its not really anything like Northampton I've been and watched a match there. It's a stadium next to a retail park, roughly five miles out of town, nowhere near a rail link and all surrounded by new housing estates, office buildings and some articifial setting (a lake in this example). The stadium design is slightly bigger and has some odd looking floodlights. In fact, it even has an athletics track next to it like Sixfields.
CosbehFox Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Is this potentially the worst call ever? Not really considering the awaydays City have had there before. Esp. one where a super-powered Kevin Russell and Joachim turned up on a run to the play-offs.

dandannieldanok Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 Glad we're back into the realms of bigger allocations so I'll be able to make more games. Typical selfish non-STH!
WardyisPukka Posted 20 April 2009 Posted 20 April 2009 What do people reckon our allocations will be ? 3,000-5,000 ??? , cant afford a season ticket but badly wanna go to derby , forest, cov

Only had problems this season which is fair enough.
