turkish14 Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 I had an eventful Tuesday this week, went on a works job in leicester to deal with an issue/complaint on a property, Anyways mrs gereldine o' Neill was there (martins wife) she had drivin up from wherever to meet me. What a smashing lady she was, we had a chat about city i mentioned that i was a season ticket holder and that Martin was down at the walkers for the leeds game, she said we had a nice ground and she was pleased we had got promoted. Martin even called her whilst i was there i felt like shouting "Martin giz a wave". The best of it is just as i was leaving in my van i pulled alongside her and the onsite warden and told her to thank Martin on behalf of all city fans for what he did for our club, she then went to her car and gave me a small gift (cannot mention what it is). I also asked her how her health was, and she replyed that she was good but a bit bigger (she is thin as owt) which is good to hear after her health scare It sounds silly but its great that even though Martin's moved on there's still a part of Leicester that he still keeps. Unless of course he plans to return one day
Babylon Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 she then went to her car and gave me a small gift (cannot mention what it is). Dirty bugger.

Monk Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 Was it Emile Heskey bound and gagged in the boot of the car? Sounds like a quality experience mate, though I can't imagine he will ever manage us again. He's still being groomed for the Utd job surely?
lildave3 Posted 23 April 2009 Posted 23 April 2009 Dirty bugger. Thought that too! Sounds very suspicious that part

Perhaps not the best choice of words, especially given posts so far on this thread.. I think Jose may have overtaken him in the pecking order for that particular post.

Monk Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 It was, sounds sad but the first thing i did was get on the phone to my wife! Was she jealous about the 'gift'?
turkish14 Posted 24 April 2009 Author Posted 24 April 2009 Was she jealous about the 'gift'? Not at all we shared it
The People's Hero Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Was it a KitKat? Yeah, he gave her both fingers.
