Smiffy Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 They never said it was gonna be retro.Im mega impressed now ive seen good quality pictures, probably my favourite home shirt weve had on first impressions, nice and simple but not bland. Look forward to buying it. I agree. Now all we need is a red one
beemeroo Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Well just about anything was going to be anticlimactic after 31 f'in pages! <_< I actually quite like it. Its simple, symmetrical, and doesn't appear to have any odd fitting areas (ie. extremely large neck). It's OK, nothing amazing. I was just expecting amazing I guess!
Smiffy Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 It's OK, nothing amazing. I was just expecting amazing I guess! Well, on past experiences I was expecting the exact opposite so thats probably why I'm pleasantly surprised
Shrenchel Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Not amazing but A LOT better than I was expecting the club to produce. It was never going to be classic retro with a sought after kit supplier and to me that aint half bad.
markbsac Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 dont like it but ill buy one to have weller with his birth to death dates on the back i was expecting a bigger name maker...thamn joma
Wooly Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Wow. Embarrassing. Only this club could take such a potentially great idea and completely ruin it!
Samilktray Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Its like people are used to us having great kits.
Smiffy Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Wow. Embarrassing. Only this club could take such a potentially great idea and completely ruin it! It got rid of that hideous spongebob logo we had...enough for me!
lavrentis Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Football Shirt Culture Here Bloody hell, they are quick.
Samilktray Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Football Shirt Culture Here Bloody hell, they are quick. They have the new Northampto nshirt up too. DFefinetly wouldnt of minded Errea after seeing theres.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Jesus christ look at Covs new kit!! http://www.footballshirtculture.com/200904...-brown-kit.html And people think our new one is bad!
Fosse Boy Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I wanted something more retro... Oh well, I'll probably grow to love it.
CockneyFox Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Quite like it TBH. Was always going to look a bit empty without a sponsor but having the badge below the JOMA gubbins kinda fills it up a bit
Fosse Boy Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 The shorts and socks are nice. Not really a fan of the side panels on the shirt though... Ho well, fuck it, we're one up against Scunny. :scarf:

These two are both right. People acting like it's the end of the world need to get a life. It's hardly over the top (for those moaning it's too fussy), is quite clean and simple, and I like the little unique touches. It's not a template with our badge on it. People seem to be moaning about things that aren't an issue.
Joe. Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I'm not one to care about kits that much, but this one's alright I suppose. Pretty basic and bland, but it'll do.
DanTheFox07 Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 I think the kit is very nice, sleek and nice tone of blue! also saw abbi in it on the official site, how much for both !
davieG Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 It's a football not earth shattering but I'm 100% more interested in who's going to be wearing it!
jonw88 Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 It's a football not earth shattering but I'm 100% more interested in who's going to be wearing it! Too true. Thank god for white shorts though!
Finchy Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 It's not as nice as other Joma kits but I do like it, at least it's bloody symmetrical! Coller is a tad rubbish tho. Just glad we've got a decent quality kit, Joma is a top Spanish brand.
Gaffer Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 What La Liga team was it who also has Joma? Seville? Seville
ACF Posted 24 April 2009 Posted 24 April 2009 Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. I will definetly be buying this, as soon as they Away kit comes out. When will that be? EDIT: Solid Gold Fleck around the badge?? Why?
