20mj08 Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 personal dislike against the new kit but no doubt will grow on me like the last one did. not all about the kit at the end of the day
Smerklo Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 If you filled out a form in the shop does that definately mean you've got the pre-order? I heard that they're were only 2000 available for pre-order
MC Prussian Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I like it. Shame the manufacturer's names is almost as big as a sponsors. Wait and see. It could very well be that Joma will change the final design. I dont get all the people saying it looks like a Portsmouth kit.We play in the same colours, or is it because of the Milan link. I don't think us and Pompey have the exact same type of blue in our crests. I always thought theirs was a tad bit darker.

Father Ted Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Well it has to be better than the grey and light green ones! I want a really random keepers kit like Kasey Keller's or the one that Russell Hoult wore.
Guest Bilo Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Wait and see. It could very well be that Joma will change the final design. That may well be true. Jako put out a prototype design in 2007 and refined the design later.
AMYB101_LCFC Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I actually can't wait to get this kit! I think it looks rather nice. It looks like it'll be a nicer fitting in all so I reckon this kit will look better on me than the Jako one And oh my God that life size cardboard cut out of Oakley wearing the new kit in the shop!! I wanted to take it home with me. He looks bloody gorgeous in it! He's such a babe!!
Craig Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I'm not quite sure what people were expecting. It's without a doubt the best shirt we've had in years, probably since i started supporting the club!
Smerklo Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I think it looks really good. The 'Joma' could have been a tad smaller, but that's nothing really
act smiley Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Far too much of a cheapskate to blow 40 quid on it, but its nice, even if its not retro styled.
lildave3 Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I like it, plus Steve looks a beast while modelling it. They have the new Northampto nshirt up too.DFefinetly wouldnt of minded Errea after seeing theres. That shirt is hideous!
leicesterseddon Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I like it, plus Steve looks a beast while modelling it.That shirt is hideous! what he said any preferences for away shirt(s)? i've wanted a white shirt with navy blue shorts&socks for aaages. i'll probably be disappointed again
Finnegan Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 So, Thracian is in bed so you are going to try for an argument with me?Fail. I listened to Bad Religion all the way home on the bike tonight, reminded me of you. Massively overdue (I've not really gotten onto the forums or even the net much for the last couple of days) - but what the hell? Me: "I'm not so keen on the shirt." You: Something on the lines of "All of you who have complained about the shirt are c*nts." Me: Feeling somewhat targeted, "That's a bit overboard." Where's the argument?
CosbehFox Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Unsure tbh. Don't like the stripes but the pic of the Fox bird wearing it is better because the lighting on the bleeding promo.

I'll reserve judgement until I see the shirt in the flesh. I'll definitely buy it though - a 2 year kit is well worth it even at £40. Most 1 year shirts are at least £30 so you're saving £20 at least over 2 years. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, it's what makes a bloody forum. Somebody obviously can't handle an opposing viewpoint to their own.
MarkDeVries Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Personally, first impressions make me think it looks rather good. If we went up in it I bet you would all love it, so who cares? No chance of us going up though tbh.
Ultra Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Personally, first impressions make me think it looks rather good. If we went up in it I bet you would all love it, so who cares? No chance of us going up though tbh. Not even in the second season?

tbf Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 For the Jako kit i got a large boys (it fitted fine and i'm 23), looks like £40 for the small mens vs £27 for large boys, might just see if i can do the same again. 13-14 year olds must be very big these days. ps i sound like a massive cheapskate but £13 is nearly the price of a match ticket at some away grounds and when you think about it like that it's seems worth it

Alexikokopops Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Not amazing but A LOT better than I was expecting the club to produce. It was never going to be classic retro with a sought after kit supplier and to me that aint half bad. Its like people are used to us having great kits. Exactly. I've never been a huge fan of badges in the middle but it's better than I thought it would be if we had a central badge. Looking forward to the away kit too, when's that announced?

lou Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Might try this myself, fancy my chances. I wish I could but theres 2 reasons I couldnt get into a childs top
