Zingari Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 You can please some of the people all of the time but you can not please all of the people all of the time.( apologies to Abraham Lincoln) When they make one using natural fibres will be the day I'll be pleased pubic hair
Guest Bilo Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 £40...??? Oh no mister 20% discount if you have a season ticket though. I don't think £32 is a bad price for this shirt to be honest, especially considering that pretty much all shirts costs £40 these days whether it's Barcelona or Hereford.
Guest Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Thing is, their kit looks like a football kit. If it was that in blue and white I'd have no problems at all.I have no issue with the maker, I'm fine with Joma. I just think it looks... I dunno. It just doesn't strike me as a football shirt, as odd as that might be to say. It really looks like a training shirt. I thought this too. However, it's a good, simple design, and no doubt I shall be wearing one this summer!
Uncle Monty Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Steve Howard looks like he's guna kill someone.
tewkesbury-fox Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 mmm..i think it will grow on me it does appear a bit portsmouthy but overall not bad
StanSP Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 mmm..i think it will grow on me it does appear a bit portsmouthy but overall not bad How?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I like it. Shame the manufacturer's names is almost as big as a sponsors.
Samilktray Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I dont get all the people saying it looks like a Portsmouth kit. We play in the same colours, or is it because of the Milan link.
Tilley Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Hope we get a white away kit, instead of horrible yellow.
Wezleylowski Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I like it, simple unique and no dancing tile. It does look a little bare, but I'm not bothered it's still sexy. The away shirt with the charity sponsor to fill it out abit will look orgasmic in my opinion.
Salieri Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Can't help but be a bit disappointed. I was sort of expecting them to stick with the badge on the left. The Joma symbol is huge. It almost offsets the whole sponsorless thing. I agree. Still, a nice shirt nonetheless.
Daggers Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Nice to see they are catering for the fuller figure too...
StanSP Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Nice to see they are catering for the fuller figure too...
lou Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Not going up to Barry Hayles size though? He must be off in the Summer
Hitesh Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I like the kit and will be getting one when its out. Saw it yesterday and looks better in the shop than in the pictures! Looking forward to seeing the away kit...
samjohnson Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Quite like the new kit, might buy it, but £40 is a bit too much... Should be about a £5 less, and no price change between long and short sleeves.
Father Ted Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Not going up to Barry Hayles size though? He must be off in the Summer No they just make him his own shorts size!
davieG Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Nice to see they are catering for the fuller figure too... Not you though - it doesn't say moaning twat. Yours faithfully Jake.
Father Ted Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Anybody know when the away kit or Goalkeepers kit is coming out?
AjcW Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Anybody know when the away kit or Goalkeepers kit is coming out? No but joma have never been very good on gk kits.
