Bellend Sebastian Posted 27 April 2009 Author Posted 27 April 2009 This is a thread for hard-hitting news stories, not your particular brand of old-school sexism, DavieG. You can crack a joke about cows, now: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7864638.stm A bit out of date, but still crucially important. "It has to be said that not all rabbits are entirely fooled."

Guest Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 She elected to be tried by jury? It's almost as if she enjoys drawing attention to herself. Her parents must be very proud To be honest, you are more likely to be found not guilty by a jury than by magistrates.
Thracian Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 To be honest, you are more likely to be found not guilty by a jury than by magistrates. If anyone can get off its sounds like she can!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 28 April 2009 Author Posted 28 April 2009 To be honest, you are more likely to be found not guilty by a jury than by magistrates. And more people get to hear an account of your sex noises

MPH Posted 1 May 2009 Posted 1 May 2009 Award for Best Cornish Pasty goes to.........DEVON!You couldn't make it up... Debate over the origins of the pasty has long raged between the two counties. In 2006 Todd Gray, a historian, discovered a shopping list written in Devon in 1510 which referred to ingredients to make pasties. However, Les Merton, the author of the Official Encyclopedia of the Cornish Pasty, argued that cave drawings show that pasties, wrapped in leaves rather than pastry, were eaten in Cornwall as early as 8,000BC.

There are few things better than the really, really thick becoming enraged over things that they just don't understand
