NewquayFox Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 From a decent source, Gilbert will come back to City next season either as a signing or on loan and Wenger is so impressed with the City Youth policy and the way we use loanees we are going to get at least the offer of 2 more Loanees next season. Feck it, we are going up i said we are going up. ;0)

Rise Against Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Sounds good! I would like to see Mark Randall or Jack Wilshere in blue and white. But that's great anyway if Gilbert will stay.
Mr Happy Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Whether its a loan or permanant signing, its great news if we get Gilbert back As for other loanees from Arsenal maybe Kieran Gibbs or Jay Simpson. Or Aaron Ramsey even.

But the gunners have some very good young talents who are unknown at the moment but i will be glad to see them as foxes. What about Amaury Bischoff? he is allready 22 years old, and he never played a leage game on Arsenal and on Werder Bremen too. i also heard that his contrect is about to expired this summer.
StanSP Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 S****horpe's striker, Henri Lansbury, is on loan from Arsenal I think. He has scored quite a few for Scunny in the time he's been there. And he is one hell of a quick guy too. Worth a look maybe?

Can you imagine that at home? Sorry, neighbours, we broke your camcorder, can we borrow your car for the afternoon? Football's great, innit?

It happens and you deal with it and move on. Arsenal are looking more so at the experience that he has been given i.e. playing regularly before the injury, and they obviously feel that the games he has played in has improved his game.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Gibbs / Ramsey / Randall / Merida / Özyakup / Wilshere / Watt / Murphy / Emmanuel Thomas / Sunu / Steer / Eastmond. There's too many that could probably do a half decent job next season.

StanSP Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Lansbury is a midfielder, not a striker. An attacking midfielder ?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 An attacking midfielder ? Thought he was a right midfielder, that's what Wiki seems to say as well. Looks like he's got a good goal scoring record from there though.
Ozwin Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 I'd love to be Arsenal's feeder club. We've got a right good relationship with 3 of the top 4 havnt we?
Shane Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 http://www.arsenal.com/reserves-youth/players Heres the list of youth players at arsenal. But i wouldnt mind seeing.. Wilshere / Ramsey / Simpson / Meridia / Vela Any two of the above would be great additions to the club. And then you've got the likes of gibbs, djourou, fabianski, song, bendtner aswell as the whole list of other youth players.

Out of all of them, only Simpson would realistically come to us, on loan at best.

Bryn Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Lansbury isn't a bad shout. Was sposed to be the best of the lot but kept getting various viruses, glandular fever and whatnot, think he might have broke a leg or something as well. Wilshere would be beyond awesome, it'll definitely be the lesser known ones we'll be looking at though if any.
bigneville Posted 2 May 2009 Posted 2 May 2009 Arsene Wenger only loans players out when they are on there last chance at Arsenal. Very rarely does a player go back to Arsenal after a loan spell, unless they have a great season. So don't expect any name that's been too close to the first team. But any of the Arsenal reserves will still be a decent signing.
