West Brom play good football with one touch. But at first half of the season they didn't play well. I'm sorry that they relegated. By the way I don't know anyone to relegate. :) Hope that Newcastle will stay.

Would take some sadistic pleasure in Newcastle getting relegated! But think it's practically impossible.

Liked Hull at the start, but Phil Brown got so cocky so quickly. A few months ago all he did was complain about other teams, lie, and talk shit. Now he seems resigned to the fact his management in 2009 was poor.

£5m for Jimmy Bullard? Whatever. Bet he's gutted. Joins for £5m when they're 6th, plays one game, gets injured, then returns to play in the Championship. Could he leave after only playing one game? That'd be some funny shit!

It really isn't though is it?

How is it practically impossible?

I know it's mathmatically likely, but so was Liverpool winning the league at one stage. Still knew it wouldn't happen.

Clubs the size of Newcastle always jam out of it. Remember when City got relegated, and Everton just escaped on goal difference or something? Same thing. The big clubs always wriggle free. Newcastle are relegation proof.

It's only when a club seriously ****s up like Leeds that a giant really falls.

What the hell are you on about?! Liverpool were never mathimatically likely to win the league! I remember when we got relegated that Everton were one place above us, but they were also six points above us!

You may be of the opinion that Newcastle will get out of it and stay up, but that is completely different to stating that it's "practically impossible" for Newcastle to go down. Jesus wept.

Actually, yeah, you're right about that, sorry. We had 33, they had 39. I got that bit wrong.

But generally, everything else is a fair statement. The big clubs always wriggle free.

I think what he means is bigger clubs usually get the rub of the green, so sods law says Hull will drop down and Newcastle will survive by the skin of their teeth.

That's how I see it as well, I just think Manure second string side will piss all over Hull and Newcastle will get a result at Villa, who are cack at home these days.

Shame for West Brom - They gonna be a force next year and go back up [again].

What are you on about? If Newcastle finish 17th or higher, they deserve to stay up. Finish 18th, they deserve to go down.

If they lose next Sunday, they are relegated.

I'm not saying Newcastle don't deserve to go down, 'cause they do. They'd be down already if it wasn't for Hull's massive fail.

I'm just saying, as much as I'd like to watch Newcastle sink, I feel they'll just survive. Probably a jammy penalty. Or a bad referee decision.

Oh right. It's just that you saying "It's practically impossible for Newcastle to go down" when they have a real chance of doing so was a bit odd

As much as people might not see where you are coming from, I definately do, it just feels inevitable I want to see them go down because I've had fans saying "We can't go down and play shit teams like Leicester because were Newcastle United" It just fooks me off so much and I want them to go down because most of them are so arrogant!

And I want to go to St James' next season :)

It's the way football is. It looks bad for Newcastle, but I think most people think they'll survive. I bet you £10 they stay up.

I'm glad someone gets it.

The table means nothing until the last day of the season. I hate the arrogant Newcastle attitude too. This, "we're too good to go down". Well, they're not too good - they're too big. As much as I'd love to watch the Newcastle fans suffer, I just really feel it can't happen. Football is predicatble like that. Hull will fall, I'm so confident it'll work out like that.

They were never going to win today and after their season they dont deserve to be in the Premier League. Nice trip to the Hawthorns next season.

Which is exactly what I was saying. I don't think flanimal seems to have grasped that we got his point the first time he posted it, he seems to be repeating the same point over and over and over and over. WE GET IT FLANIMAL.

anyone would think the Harlem Globetrotters got relegated today the way some people talk of West Brom, how they never won the league ill never know.
