Rumours about Mattock leaving have been around for a long time and we've heard all this before. Personally I don't rate him that much, but he's a very young player and I can see why other clubs would be interested. In the absence of anything but 'according to a mate of mine' rumours and media speculation, I'd be inclined to say that he probably won't be going anywhere yet.

Just had it confirmed that things are going quicker than expected for West Brom's target. Mate wouldn't confirm if it was Mattock but did mention that the Beckford deal doesn't look like happening.

Only other target he has mentioned is Mattock, but things are moving quicker than expected.

So not sure what to make of that. A fee almost agreed?
