You hate Kisnorbo as well though. Even though he was one of our top players during our darkest hours. Nobody "hates" Mattock but people are just telling it as it is. Mattock was a massive liability at times last season, and he was often in the bottom 3 in the ratings on here. Most importantly we aren't going to get someone of similar age and ability for less then we'd sell Mattock for which makes selling him a stupid thing to do because we're giving money away to basically have the same type of player. Yeah, Jack Hobbs was bought for £400k and he's very good. If we decide to sell Mattock, there are other players we can buy for cheap. I don't have a catalogue of players on me, but if Pearson managed to find a bargain in Hobbs, then I'm sure he find a left back from somewhere. Mattock is easily replaceable. I'm not saying we should sell him, but the he won't be a big loss if we do so.

If he gives penalties too cheaply, sloppy mistakes allowing opposition to score. I'm not saying it's all down to him, but he's a liability - and it's just because he's aa young player, local lad, and has played for England U-21 that people rave about him. England U-21 doesn't mean much, loads of shit players get capped at that level. And anyone who doubts a better player could be purchased for less than £2m is a mistaken. Tunchev cost what, £500,000 to £800,000? For £2m you could get two leftbacks as good as Joe.

Steady... sometimes but prone to falling asleep in games. he is young and potentially good but i think to really improve he needs to learn under the guidance of a better LB. IF Mattock is unhappy at City then he is either too big for his boots ( would be surprised) Or feels he has gone stale and needs motivating/ a change ( more likely) Just me guessing of course. 2m? Just think what NP can do with that money......

Many of us think that Kisnorbo was part of the reason that we we had such dark hours, in football it helps if you can pass a ball to a player in your side. If Kisnorbo is so good and Pearson is so astute at spotting players (especially centre halfs) then why has he never rated Kisnorbo? I know whose judgement I'd back.
