Saw him with his agent today, in Foxestalk climate that must mean a £5million deal to West Brom... surely?

Woah woah woah where you getting this from?

I just heard it from someone.

Probably not true, i'm not saying it's reliable! That's why I asking, didn't know whether Bert or Babylon knew anything...

I've had it confirmed from my source at West Brom, that negotiations between the two clubs are on-going but West Brom believe a deal is close.

Will post more tomorrow when I get some more concrete information, but West Brom are definetly in for Mattock.

Joe Mattock need's time to develop into a good player, He might be useful to Leicester City FC this season by getting us Promoted again into The Premier League.

Had it confirmed this morning that West Brom made a bid for Mattock several weeks a go. Which was turned down and then last weekend they came back with an improved bid. Leicester decided to start talks regarding a possible deal.

At this stage, there is no more developments than that. The two clubs are talking regarding a fee, which has not been agreed yet.

Why would we want to sell our first choice left back??

He will improve, remember, he is only young and has time on his side.

Why do we want to sell him to Florest? or WBA? they are in the same division!

i say, dont sell him - we are not a selling club anymore and we need to prove that.

Get rid of the crap fringe players and add more strength!

Be in the dry dock on saturday, bout 1pm!

We would sell our first choice left back becuase we can loan someone into that position and pocket £2m to invest elsewhere. This is Nigel's call and I am fully prepared to back his judgement. If he thinks that we are better off with a loan left back, or bruno there as first choice, and spending that £2m on the wages for a striker, or indeed on a fee for a couple of players then good on him. It makes sense.

We are not in the game of holding on to our best players, we are a selling club, deal with it.

If we are ambitious, then why are we possibly selling such a fine player? We need young players of his calibre here at Leicester, to build for the future.

Easy tiger...

Why are Forest trying to sign him?

They have just got Chris Gunter, or is he mainly a right back, because I thought he could play left back and right back like Paulo Ferrira then again, he cannot play in two positions at one time.

Anyway, heard they have made a £750,000 bid for Lee Naylor at Celtic, of course, formerly a star player at Wolves.

I can't see us selling, esspecially to Forest. What kind of message does that send to the fans by selling a so called top youngster to one of our closest rivals.
