Mattock to go or perhaps not!

I want Mattock to stay, I think he has a great future ahead of himself.

He may have some poor games at times, but remember he is only a young boy and still developing

Could the title of this thread not just have been Mattock? The rest just seems a waste???

Isn't writing what you wrote though a waste by mentioning it? Also is me mentioning that it is a waste of a waste risking something that is becoming now a waste of a waste of a waste?

What?

Makes no sense does it now I read it, I meant people will pay over the odds for him because they've heard hes better than what he actually is.

Seriously I cannot remember writing that

he is developing but I think we could cash in for more than £10mil.

It's taken me 11 days to recover from this statement.

I honestly cannot remember writing £10mil, sorry I probably meant £5mil, which is still quite hefty but still..

As much as I think Mattock's got a bright future and would like us to hang on to him, I'd rip somebody's arm off if they were to offer us £10m for him :D

Even if he was allowed to leave I can't imagine he'd ever go to Forest, at least not straight from here

This negativity surrounding Mattock looks totally unfounded. He will make it and is only 19. He loves Leicester and we need him. The true spirit in a club comes from those Leicester lads that get support from the terraces.

The problem with Mattock is that come next summer he will go for nothing, except the pittance compensation. If he doesn't look like he will sign a new deal then we have to get rid now.

They can have him.

Why?

He may have had a couple of bad games last season in league 1 but thats about it, other than that he is and going to be a top left back at the club.

Seen him ever since his debut, think it was the 2-1 loss against Birmingham, and there is nothing to suggest he will not be a top left back. He is strong, can pass a ball, uses both feet, has a neat first touch, gets stuck in and can hit a ball. Isn't he someone that we should be keeping?

Anyway, if he was to go, who do you suggest we buy?

There arn't many young left backs out there, I can think of three, and when Ashley Cole retires from international football we could see our Joe being the England left-back.

So, why sell him?
