dandannieldanok Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Comfortable for Murray atm, not playing near his best but has the game well under control.
Number 6 Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Looks like Nadal may lose his first set of the tournament.
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 Nadal loses his first set at french open since 2007 6-2. And he beat Soderling 6-1, 6-0 in Rome 2 weeks ago Come on Robin Cilic needs to move mountains to win this one, although he could probably touch the peak with his arm.
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 Soderling Nadal 1 set all. Soderling playing very very well, Nadal not. The Swede can win this
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 6-5 Nadal 4th set, Soders to serve. We are all waiting for it, is this where Soderling will crumble Come on Soderling!!!!!!!!!! John Twat Lloyd is talking fooking shit. Even if Nadal was playing his best Soderling would have still been in this match, he's hit so many great winners. John Lloyd will hopefully be made to eat his words, if Soderling can win this match.
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 What a backhand passing shot from Solderling. 15-0 up.
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 Tie break 4th set. What a performance from Soderling. Still John Lloyd keeps saying the entire match will change every time Nadal wins a point. Nadal never lost a match at Roland Garross, hadn't lost a set there until today since 2007, could be crashing out. Come on you Swedish beauty. I fooking  Robin Soderling. Please don't crumble in the tie break again!!!! COME ON
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 Soderling 2-0 up in tie break!!! Nadal hits an awful forehand miles wide. COME ONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 The score is 6-2 6-7 6-4 6-6 to Soderling 3-1 to the Swede in the breaker. After a fooking stunning low backhand as Nadal was charging into the net. So composed. This could be one of the greatest victories in tennis history.
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 Nadal goes wide. The Swede is 2 points away from knocking out 4 times champion never lost on clay at the french Nadal. 5-1 up in the breaker. Special Swede. 5 match points!!! 6-2 Soderling. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 Incredible. One of the greatest wins in tennis history. Never lost at the French Open on clay, 4 times Champion, out to fooking Robin Soderling!!!!! Nadal beat him 6-0, 6-1 2 weeks ago in Rome, he came out and just attacked attacked attacked, and maintained that level of performance all the way through. 5/6 break points won, 61 winners 9 aces, 64% first serves in. Utterly unbelieveable. I can't fooking believe it. This French Open is anyones now. Federer, Murray, Del Potro, Verdasco, Gonzalez, Soderling, Roddick, Kolhscrieber etc they can do this. I thought Djokovic losing yesterday was a shock, but this, incredible. So pleased i watched that match, and i bet they will show a replay of it at some point, watch it people. Stunning fabulous, Robin Soderling.
Milky Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Holy shit that's a gigantic upset. Wide open for Murray now. What a chance. A shame he won't get to beat the best in order to win but ah well.
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 Would to see Murray get to the final now but will be delighted if Federer can finally win it. Robin Soderling. You fooking legend.
Number 6 Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 I am gutted to be honest, but what a performance from Soderling. Everytime you thought Nadal was coming back, Soderling would produce some magic. If he can play like that he has a chance in this tournament too! Although it could be anyone's now. Will be interesting to see how Nadal responds on the grass.
maddog Posted 31 May 2009 Author Posted 31 May 2009 Soderling Nadal 1 set all.Soderling playing very very well, Nadal not. The Swede can win this Yes maddog, the Swede can win this, he's only gone and fooking won it. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
Milky Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Yes maddog, the Swede can win this, he's only gone and fooking won it.YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! I'd be way more impressed if you'd said that before the game!
Flynny Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Clear path to the final for Murray if everything goes according to seeding, which it probably won't. Love to see Murray or Fed take it.
StanSP Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 what!? when? No I meant that I was unhappy about it - not BREAKING NEWS hence the .
