I made an huge discover last night. Fruli, Its a Strawberry beer, I've had fruit, different beers before but this stuff is something else, It doesn't taste like beer at all, It's almost like a Strawberry smoothie or something. Absolutely amazing stuff don't think many places sell it though.

Had a proper beer after and it tasted horrible.

I tried toffee flavoured cider the other night.

Pretty sweet stuff.

I had a peach flavoured beer called Flying Dutchman the other week.

It was sex in a pint glass.

And I figured it was probably one of my five a day too, so I went and had another four.

Im a huge fan of Koppaberg, summer fruits flavoured 1.

Phwoarr.

Kopparberg is about the only cider I can stand. Probably because it doesn't taste like cider.

Bottles of it in our bar for 1.50 here, it's pretty decent. Is that on tap at the loaded dog Ched? The one I'm living next to next year has it on tap but it's something like 2.90 a pint.

I saw that Fruli stuff in Lloyds a couple of weeks back. Was tempted to try it. Is it worth having a taste or should i stick to my normal lager?

It depends its amazingly nice, but if you don't want to ruin your taste for normal lagers or beers don't try it lol

Only tried Apple Cider and Pear Cider, Apple is fine, Pear (Well Koppaberg Pear Cider) is horrible - I think, I know alot like it though, not for my taste buds though.

The best. Far sweeter than Magners and far crisper and lighter than Bulmers' "Let's Fill This Shit With Chemicals" Pear.

Edit: Koppaberg is a really bad example of a perry. It's basically a soft drink, I don't mind drinking it if it's all that's available but it's pretty putrid. St Helier is fucking lush.

A tip, dont drink Brothers strawberry cider and then go and kiss your girlfriend, she thought it was lipgloss of another girl cause my lips tasted of it lol

Fruli is quite quaffable I must admit, but if you pay a visit to the Swan & Rushes you should ask for a bottle of Anker Boscoulis. An absolutely gorgeous summer fruits beer, lovely in the summer.

You're both gay. :P

Give me your average lager any day.

lol Unreal.

Am I the only one to whom this just seemed amusingly ironic?

Evidently not. :giggle:

Kopparberg mixed fruits is my favourite drink at the moment, so nice. Pear isn't bad either. Will try this fruli next time I'm out.

Just been to Tesco at the Ricoh icon8.gif after my mate text me saying he has just bought a couple of bottles of it from Tesco (In Hinckley I think), but they didn't have any at the Ricoh Tesco >_<
