JoeyB Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 what does 'barrel on' mean ? Roll on, Jog on, Move on. one of those at a guess.
krefeld_fox Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Righty-o smuts I'll barrel on then. Come back when things are a little less heated.
General Smuts Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Righty-o smuts I'll barrel on then. Come back when things are a little less heated. Come back when youre a little less narrow minded. Have a look at how biased the referee was and have a look at your goalkeeper hitting a young lad and your 2 centre backs assaulting our forward line.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Be fair, the vast majority of their players and supporters were fine and this Krefeld chap sounds alright. It'll all be forgotten in no time.
Bert Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Be fair, the vast majority of their players and supporters were fine and this Krefeld chap sounds alright. It'll all be forgotten in no time. I agree. Although the ref was awfully biased and him and his assistants were never up with play. How can someone be offisde, when they run through their backline from his own half after the balls been played?

krefeld_fox Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Ok chaps we'll agree to disagree on this one. Dont want to descend into name calling and such-like over the net. Hope your mate is ok and best of luck in your future matches. Oh Smuts call me narrow minded, go back and read your posts mate.
Bert Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Were the officials dead old? Yes, but at the end of the day, if they're reffing they should at least be able to keep up with play. Oh Smuts call me narrow minded, go back and read your posts mate. Really not worth it I don't think, especially when we're all City fans. Well done to Bentleys. They wanted it more than us, and for me, that's what won it. Just seen this too: 1-0 to the Bentleys in a tightly fought affair ay the `leccy` ground.A highly charged game that had everything, including a one man pitch invasion by a deranged midget. Beautiful.
Curtis Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 To be fair gents, it is a contact sport. You can't just say the blokes were bigger than yours.
Ashley Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 I've just got back from the Hospital now. On arrival Jake's mum checked me into the hospital and her and jake and little brother were very helpful to me and stayed with me untill my mum got there, much appriciated. I got to see a nurse quite quick I was struggling walking so they went and got me a bed at first I was in minor injuries section of the A&E after the nurse seen me and saw how bad I was I got moved to the majors section. My left arm is bruised, my left rib is very swalloen and the bruise is starting to come out the doctor said that I didnt need an x-ray however I could have a slight crack in one of the upper ribs, there's nothing they can do, I've been told to rest it and keep taking paracetamols. I'm still in pain A very big thankyou goes out to Bert, Chloe, Katy, Jake & Family and all others that were helping me at the football ground, best wishes are much appricated thanks again guys. Football Terms - It was getting very heated out there on the first game, same with the final some horrid challenges going in on our players. There was absoutly no need what so ever to start on LD3 he was going for a 50/50 ball, also getting him in a headlock sending off affence or what? The refferee lost controll of the final.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Glad you're back out the hospital mate, hope the pain eases quickly.

I'm just glad you're ok and it's nothing too serious, you'll be back on the pitch in no time matey!
DB11 Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Yes, but at the end of the day, if they're reffing they should at least be able to keep up with play. I agree 100%. Did Bentleys organise the refs?
Bert Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 I agree 100%. Did Bentleys organise the refs? I believe so. What's done is done now.
DB11 Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 I'll volunteer for the next game, if ya want. (If only to get experience refereeing mens games - which I need!)

Scow Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Shame I missed this; I would have fancied having a hack at those fuc kers.
Maybes Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Krefeld fox - did you play in todays game? If so what position?
Tevez Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 What's worse? The Plymouth Arygle fan membership overload or the "start on the striker for no apparent reason is deemed as a contact sport" fan membership overload. Tough
Tevez Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Also... In all honesty didnt look too clever. Lots of moaning on foxestalk. Think they must have missed their forward kicking lumps out of jg the guy who blatantly then took him out,'manager' running on the pitch to get involved.dont get me started on their forward who bitched all game and the centre half werent shy with the verbals. Look Krefeld Fox, I'm a PM away to talk. Not bitching back to your members dabbing in our forum. If you've got a problem, drop me a message. Today must of touched a few of your nerves despite winning a trophy. Good night.
Ultra Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Really shocked by these accounts. This was supposed to be a charity event FFS. Christ knows what the Cov fans must have made of it.

Well done guys for looking after Ash especially Jake and his mother. I assume Angry Dad is LD3 dad, what did he do. Wish i was playing as a forward in this game......to give some back.
