Showed committment to the cause by staying the distance for yers, anyway ;)

I have to admit that from where i was standing it was funny as fook seeing you two nearly knock each other out. Sorry to hear about your wrist tho. Knackered your sex life up for a good few weeks ehh.

Yeahhhhhh good one old timer!!!:rolleyes:

Though I'm at my mrs' place for the first time in a month all this week, so you know nothing. Unlucky.. :)

At least mine still works without having to thumb in a softy at my age, eh.. :)

The fact this wonderful park character can laugh when someone has sustained an injury says it all.

Hope your ok JME, sorry mate pure accidental!

its all bollox about this sorta antics happenning in Senior League in thias day and age, we aint in the 60s anymore and people actually have to go to work the next day, ive played in adult senior and sunday league past 9 years and ive never seen a ref lose control as much as he did, nor seen such antics from the opposition to win a game, especially a meaningless one. Sorry to be so opinionated but when peoples health are at risk and theres children watching some people dont realise the example they are setting themselves for others

Having read the various gloats on BR, I'm not convinced the ref or assistants (who are all posters on there) did lose it.

They were asked to do a job and they did it.

Apparently Foxes Trust are being asked to take part next time. I can safely say there isn't a cat in hell's chance of that happening.

BR are not noted for their sympathies towards the Trust.

Does the Trust have enough members these days to field a full side?

lolI used to enjoy Jackieguaccamole's posts when I posted on the old Fox Fanzine. Ended up hoping Big Nev laid him spark out yesterday.

And we're all Leicester!

Oohhhhhh so that's who that was.

I feel sad that the game ended like this. There was some massively over-reactive people on the pitch on Sunday and it's a shame. Some people need to have a long look at themselves after this and hopefully they know who they are.

To be fair Ultra, i see the reason why foxes trust won't take part is because they have slagged them off at every given chance in the past. The club will have nothing to do with BR also and i think the foxes trust want to futher themselves away from that mob.

So how come the Foxes Trust had a stall at the LOROS fun day on Sunday then?

And whats all this "mob" business?

3 days later and you're still narked about being turned over by a team old enough to be your fathers. And older. I love it. All the flash shiny blue boots don't put the ball in the onion bag do they?

Some of our team will probably still be hacked off even after that centre half has snuffed it from old age.

But we'll be alright in a couple of weeks.

Hope you do make it next year. Remember revenge is a dish best tasted cold.

BTW - I was mighty impressed with your guys up front in the semi - final. Some very well taken goals.

They are absolutely cracking players. I was as angry as anyone at the time (Angry Dad apart, perhaps) but now I hope FT can be involved again. It just got stupidly over-competitive. I reckon come next year there'd probably be interest again.

Don't think there were many posters playing on Sunday from when I was a regular on Fox Fanzine years ago. Hopefully next time around Talking Balls will put a team in too.

These were all posters on Foxfanzine (before it got sold to Sky and we started up Bentleys Roof) and played on Sunday:

CG69 - in goal first half - sub goalie Jackie Guaccamole

Wints - Right Back

One True Blue - Centre Half - Macfox's older son

Jimmy Willis

Custard Boy

Asa - wide left - Macfox's youngest son

Truro12 - up front

Colibosher

You may remember some of the names

he scared me when i posted on there, so did soho_fox!

Guys, I wouldn't worry about this comment - as all of your are skillful enough to play at a high enough level to avoid this kind of crap, trust a soon to be 27, 20 season vetern. (20th season this one coming - bloody hell!)

Don't get me wrong, I've seen a few games flair up, normally from the saftey of my goal, but most players that play hard know where to draw the line and can come of the pitch and shake hands and have a beer and a laugh about it after. There will be a few enforcers at a higher level, but they are few and far between, there's not 6 or 7 in one side.

As long as I am fit, I fancy making the trip again next year.

And big shout for Man Pabs for organising us - top man. (If i owe you some cash private message me - I went to have a shower, and when I came out everyone was leaving!)

exactly, us old timers (when we know we're on the slide) just try and ruffle some feathers and make the more skilful side lose their composure, and exploit that. it's all about keeping composure and passing it around and knackering them out.

hope you turn out again next year (if it happens) , i thoroughly enjoyed meself and having not played for 5 years was bloody sore the next day. shame about the argy bargy and the young un getting injured (brave lad). i ran straight over when your two players collided as i thought at first they had clashed heads , fortunately they were ok(i think the decision from the ref hurt em more , strange one that). anyway all the best lads and remember the only winners are the cancer patients at loros who need that money for treatment etc.cheers lads , here's to next year. :)

Some brilliant pictures on facebook now - especially of Hammonds save from the free kick and Angry Dad looking...well.... angry!

Ah it was you who asked if we were ok, cheers mate :)

See the photo of me and JME just before collision, judge for yourself, were we going into foul an opposition player or running for the ball... :P if anything it looks like JME tried to avoid the collision, i clearly didnt see him! (sorry :P)

i can assure you that the referee was not bribed , tapped up or anything else people care to call it.a lot of us roofers met for the first time that day including the referee.in the first game against the west terrace i was stood behind one of the cov lads when a half volley came our way , the cov player dropped his knees to flick the ball on as it was coming low , the ref blew up and awarded them a free kick and when i questioned it he stated that i was holding the player down.in fact no contact was made , after playing in various leagues for 20 years i have come to accept these decisions as the referee is only human and is prone to mistakes like us , crap pass , mistimed tackles etc etc.i know one thing , i would never ref a match seeing some of the abuse they take.

Bentleys ref has signed up lads!

One way or another, the ref was awful, and it was clear of the bias he gave to your side.

The reason for the refereeing decisions in full:

:P

Na it was not him! :P

In heind sight, it was still the refs fault, he lost control of the game and the respect of our players with his 1 sided decisions! I don't have FT specs on, that is how it was.
