Maybes Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 What happened in the semi-final?I'm surprised at Bentley's 'cos we're all Leicester fans and it was for charity for fuck sake. Sounds bad. Good luck to Ash. Ripped apart a coventry side 6-1. Goals: Tomassi, Ryan Dawkins, LD3 (2), Myself , and not sure who got the other..... Hammond is a quality keeper I might add!!
Bert Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Ripped apart a coventry side 6-1.Goals: Tomassi, Ryan Dawkins, LD3 (2), Myself , and not sure who got the other..... Hammond is a quality keeper I might add!! ME YOU BIG MASSIVE MUG.
JoeyB Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 sorry to hear what happened to ashley. Hope everyone had a good time, apart from what happened in the final. rematch with Bentleys and we'll beet them!
Tomassi Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Everyone played very well today but i feel some people deserve special mentions Hammonds_ankle, awesome in goal! ball stuck to his gloves like in the Wickes adverts! Lil_Dave who found his golden touch Tevez and Maybury for a solid defensive partnership Syston_fox who went in for every challange Cat_burger and JME who held the midfield well and David Guiza who didnt shy out of anything despite being a youngster! like i said everyone played really well, these just stood out for me today!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 I thought it was shameful. It's not worth causing that much bad feeling at a charity event just in order to win a meaningless game. It's not sour grapes, we play FT events regularly with the likes of Sparky, The Singh and Hullfox who manage to play hard but very, very fair at the back. When LD3 goes past one of them, for example, they hold their hands up and say they got beat rather than cynically hacking him down. And the way they went through the back of our forwards every time to win the ball in the air was ludicrous. The organisers did brilliantly and it looked a great day for the kids. Thankfully those twats in defence for them didn't spoil that aspect of it, and the Coventry games were played in the right spirit too from what I could see, albeit with some comic interventions from Fat Speroni at right-back. Hope Ashley makes a quick recovery, all the best. Good to see you all too.
David Guiza Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Everyone played very well today but i feel some people deserve special mentionsHammonds_ankle, awesome in goal! ball stuck to his gloves like in the Wickes adverts! Cheers mate . Got a massive bruise on my leg from Speroni in the first game though. I thought everyone played well just bullied out of it in the final as litteraly everyone bar our players and the 5 on the sideline wanted us to lose we did'nt stand much chance. As a man said at the end they played to there strengths but there's playing to your strengths and litteraly abusing people . To be fair there were a few in the side who i dont have any complaints with and even they we're annoyed by there own team. Hope Ashley is ok as well. Did'nt really see the challenge through a pshyco defender of there's but looked in a bad state when he was sitting down.
syston_fox Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 I really enjoyed that first game and think that that is probably the best FT side that I've been a part off, especially if they did have some coventry academy ringers in like suggested. Second game, we just weren't allowed to play and effectively they did to us what Millwall did in that game at the Walkers in September. Nev is a legend tho and fingers crossed that Ash is back on his feet a.s.a.p
krefeld_fox Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Thought you were a decent side today and was a pleasure to watch your attacking football against the cov lot. Not nice to hear about one of your lads getting injured no-one wants to hear that we've all got jobs etc to go to monday.Best wishes to him. There was a couple of agricultural challenges today and some gamesmanship from Bentleys but think at the end there was some unsavoury actions from BOTH sides. We'd got a lot of older players out there today and to be honest were expecting to get run ragged. Think we wanted more today but don't think on the whole we were as bad as you lot are suggesting.
General Smuts Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Just gotten in after the crazy long drive home and im still fuming. There defence was absolutely atrocious. Kicking chunks out of anyone in a white shirt. Shocking! Best wishes to Ashley.
Tevez Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 but don't think on the whole we were as bad as you lot are suggesting. Give over. What an advert for the young lads and familys who witnessed what happened today. Yeah we ran our mouth but we was going to stand up to your dirty 'agricultural' behaviour. Today proved a lot of things for me, I respect the elders who I play with on Foxestalk and Saturday and Sundays but never back down to people double your age who want to mug you off. And the final proved it.
DB11 Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Sounds like I could have reffed it better - that's a first!
General Smuts Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Sounds like I could have reffed it better - that's a first! Too fooking right mate. If JeffTheRefLCFC is not on Bentley's Roof along with his 2 lino lackeys i will be truly shocked.
syston_fox Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Sounds like I could have reffed it better - that's a first! You own a whistle which puts you one up on the clown today!
David Guiza Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Sounds like I could have reffed it better - that's a first! Easily
General Smuts Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Well next time ask me to Ref! How much would it take for Bentleys Roof to bribe you? Surely cheaper than the fella today.
JoeyB Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 What happened to ashley? Did he go in with the keeper? or a bad tackle?
General Smuts Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 To everyone, firstly for raising all that money for charity, and secondly for beating those foxes talk bastards. We all battled really well and deserved the win.And that ref wasnt bad either. What a massive ****
David Guiza Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 What happened to ashley?Did he go in with the keeper? or a bad tackle? Long ball over the top. Him and Bert i think it was? Went for it and keeper collided with Ash ribs i think from what i could see. I'v text him but he has'nt txt back yet.

I'v text him but he has'nt txt back yet. Think shingler said he had up to a five hour wait to see a doc so he will probably still be at the hospital for a while yet.
krefeld_fox Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Lads not on here to stir the shit but for gods sake ! You are far younger, fitter and faster than us. We deliberately broke the game up and slowed it down. We didnt want an hammering like cov got. We got stuck in and got away with it. Yeah things got crappy towards the end and a couple of poor challenges agreed. Dont know if you had won 1-0 you would have thought differently. Saw some of your players run half the length of the pitch to get involved. Anyway we're all Leicester and I really do hope we can play each other again.
lildave3 Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Everyone hates FoxesTalk Brilliant. The first game was fantastic, really enjoyed that. Especially the fact my Robinho celebrations got another airing.

You got away with it cos the ref was on your fucking books! We all got involved because one of our youngest players was attacked by an absolute cock jockey twice his age and your mate the ref did fook all about it! Barrel on.
Tomassi Posted 5 July 2009 Posted 5 July 2009 Not being funny but strangling an 18 year old after a genuine attempt for the ball is ugly, of course as his friends we want to try and protect him! Along with some horror tackles and the general attitude of the individuals as bespoken it just spoilt what was such a good day upto that point. Unfortunately a player has ended up in hospital even though it was from a fairly innocuous challange but it was a miracle no-one else got hurt
