Wycombe Fox Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Phew!! Not worrying anymore. They won't get 326 runs with only 6 wickets left!
Matt Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 236-5. It's coming home, It's coming home, It's coming....
Tilley Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Well they've turned it around with 3 quick wickets and are proving me wrong.
FilboFox Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 I'm still worried... I know I oughtn't be as we've all but got this in the bag, but being England, I just can't help but feel we're going to let Australia right back in and almost throw this away...

That sort of attitude holds this country back. Can't stand it.
Uncle Monty Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Has anyone got a working link to view the match?
dandannieldanok Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Sorry but anyone else feel the euphoria of 4 years ago is miles away from this? I completely blame Sky, the fact they've got the rights to screen it is a toal disgrace, major events such as World Cups, Wimbledon, Cup finals etc. should all be on terrestrial TV. Obviously the fact we've recently ditched sky is bad timing on my part and I've missed a big chunk of this series but come on.... Completely agree, loved the Ashes summer of 2005, Channel 4 did a brilliant job of covering it all. Sky are ****ing pr*cks.

purpleronnie Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 I cant listen anymore, everytime I do they keep scoring runs, then I switch it off and switch back and a wicket has been taken so I have concluded that if I dont listen anymore we'll win.

FilboFox Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 That sort of attitude holds this country back. Can't stand it. Holds us back from being what exactly?
Father Ted Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Completely agree, loved the Ashes summer of 2005, Channel 4 did a brilliant job of covering it all. Sky are ****ing pr*cks. Exactly!!! I've not got Sky!! Bastards! England football matches (well, home ones) are on normal TV aswell as Rugby so why does this have to be different. There should be a rule saying that national team games can only be televised on BBC1/2, ITV1, Channel 4 and 5.

Matt Posted 23 August 2009 Posted 23 August 2009 Holds us back from being what exactly? Yep, we'd be world beaters, No-one in the world would be better than us - If only it wasn't for the fans having no faith in the teams to fuk it up. I get what he means, We should support our teams, and have more faith in them, but on the otherhand football, cricket, tennis (Not that i'm bothered about tennis myslef, but still it remains a point), the list goes on, we have seen them fook up so much and not perform, and seen things that are harder to fook up than go ahead and win it's hard to be positive sometimes. Anyway back to topic, C'mon England, we could do with another wicket or two to keep the pressure on the Aussies.

No there shouldn't, Every other channel yes, but there should be a rule saying no sport can be televised on ITV. As for Sky, I love it.
