marko Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Yeah when it's close, thats just a massive balls up. Those no balls weren't close though, a good 2 inches.
Wycombe Fox Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 I'd like to see us get at least 50 on the board tonight for the loss of no wickets, then rack-up a 500+ lead by tomorrow night and stick 'em in for 10 overs before the end of play tomorrow.
Joe. Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Right, let's crack on now then boys. Get as many as possible in tonight, and hopefully build up something substantial throughout tomorrow. It's there for the taking now.
Bert Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 It's all a bit quite in here isn't it You were saying?
Matt Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Cook gone, 27-1. C'mon England, Get those runs but don't lose any more wickets tonight.
Benji Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Cook must be delighted we are short of good batsmen. Amazed he's lasted the series.
purpleronnie Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 You really are a vile cvnt. How you can use the term "we" aswell.Anyway, this is superb!! I'm english thats why, I think vile cvnt is a little harsh, I love you. Its only a little fun, chill. p.s C'MON ENGLAND Is that ok?
James. Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 All over by tomorrow, one way or another. I'm a bit scared.
Matt Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Oh ffs! Collingwood Gone now. 38-3 something like that. Do the hard work then flop - Hopefully i'll be eating my words...
James. Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Oh ffs!Collingwood Gone now. 38-3 something like that. Do the hard work then flop - Hopefully i'll be eating my words... Hardly a flop when they lost 10 wickets for about 80 runs... the wicket is clearly getting ridiculously difficult to bat on.
Benji Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 The way these guys are handing their wickets on a plate they might as well just keep slogging at it to add to the lead. This is all leading up to a Flintoff epic EDIT: if we win this, Strauss deserves a hell of a lot of credit not just for his captaincy, but his batting. Mr reliable throughout the series.
purpleronnie Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Well that would be fab wouldnt it, I just hope we dont blow it after being in such a great position, dare I say that would be typical, soz milky.

Matt Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Do you actually give a shit or are just on a wind up? I can't decide. USA! USA! USA! Only Joking
purpleronnie Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 I do give a shit infact I find it extremely hard to listen to it, makes me too nervous, I didnt hold out any hope thats why I suggested to give it to the aussies as its always torture to listen to it (much like the footy team in the WC). I just hope we dont blow it because we seem to do things like this and thats why is so painful to watch or listen.

Funny how you only ever turn up in this thread when England aren't doing so well, as per usual you were nowhere to be seen with your narrow-minded negativity when England were tearing through the Aussies this afternoon.
Bert Posted 21 August 2009 Posted 21 August 2009 Why's everyone apologising to Milky? You can say what you want you know!

It's a bloody rollercoaster supporting any England team in any sport.

Remember I'm at work you know. (5 hour time difference). Even if I had been listening I wouldnt have posted because things turn very quickly as we are finding out, I'll celebrate at the end not half way through. I know what you mean. I'm sat here expecting us to crawl to 100 all out. It's a bloody rollercoaster supporting any England team in any sport. Sod milky you're my new fave. Why's everyone apologising to Milky? You can say what you want you know! Sometimes I wonder.
