Guest Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 You still on the Graveyard shift Nah, moved locations. Same job but at a different site and it now involves some early shifts and getting up at 3am to get to work for 4-4.30. Shockingly bizarre shift times
lou Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Well its nearly pitch black and pissing it down! I hope youre all happy now!
Darkzzz_ Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 I am certainly happy with the rain. I do like the rain.
davieG Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Well its nearly pitch black and pissing it down! I hope youre all happy now! As a contrast to the overbearing heat and mugginess where you sweat as you sit but would prefer somewhere in between that's comfortable.
DB11 Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Well its nearly pitch black and pissing it down! I hope youre all happy now! Loving it! :D :D
Darkzzz_ Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 It rained. But it's still muggy and sticky Yeah I have found that too, it is very muggy. I hate this, I guess having a leather office chair doesn't help things either.
Tommy G Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Yeah I have found that too, it is very muggy. I hate this, I guess having a leather office chair doesn't help things either. Swanky
Bellend Sebastian Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Just got soaked on my way back from town, despite my umbrella. I declare the heatwave officially over
Granno Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Well its nearly pitch black and pissing it down! I hope youre all happy now! I'm loving it cheers
Corky Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Well its nearly pitch black and pissing it down! I hope youre all happy now! It was the lack of a decent breeze that was the problem for me. I prefer overcast days anyway
lou Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Bah! Youre all weirdos Bring back the blistering heat and sunshiiiiiiine!
Granno Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Bah! Youre all weirdos Bring back the blistering heat and sunshiiiiiiine! For my holiday in a few weeks yes, for working conditions this and next week, no deal noel.
AoWW Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 It was the lack of a decent breeze that was the problem for me.I prefer overcast days anyway Hmm, well, some folks have a natural affinity to hot air.
Matt Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 It was quite refreshing with the rain this morning, and i'm glad it wasn't boiling hot as I had a hangover and felt very nauseous as it was, the heat wouldn't have helped, usually though i'd much prefer it to be the glorious weather we have had all week though.
samlcfc Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Bah! Youre all weirdos Bring back the blistering heat and sunshiiiiiiine! thats what im saying, everyone seems to be going on about it being too hot but theres sum brilliant opportunities to be found in heat like this
Guest Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 Some frigging heatwave. It was thick cloud all the way from Newfoundland to Heathrow. Aside from the moaning twats who want the window blinds closing even though they have been provided with decent eye shades, there was bugger all to see crossing the Atlantic today. Out for dinner in a bit?! Do you know what time it is?! You must be some high roller. Respect Or maybe it's because she's still on holidays in the U.S.? True story. seen! To be fair, you weren't to know.
