Part Of The Crowd Posted 30 June 2009 Author Posted 30 June 2009 Christ on a bike, I make some off the cuff remark about certain rumours surrounding another club's chairman, POTC leaps on the defensive straight away (as per usual) and you all join him. It's not as if I was looking for an argument, my views on McFranchise are well known enough. I was merely commenting on the topic of the thread. Oh come off it, you can't really be that offended by what I posted. See what I mean about leaping on the defensive? I am not in the mood for any little jibes today, however ridiculous. This is about my team's manager leaving for West Brom not a 'poke fun at MK' thread. It is generally made obvious in the title. This is a discussion, not an arguement.

What I posted was perfectly related to the topic! I doubt any other team's fans would be quite so hung up if I were to post something slightly slanderous about their chairmen. With all due respect, you can't expect everyone on another team's forum to agree with your views can you? It was pretty light hearted compared to what I usually have to say about McFranchise. Man up and take the banter for Christ's sake.

Tevez Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Glad he's left MK Dons but I don't rate him as a manager. Bet he signs Keith Andrews.
Samilktray Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Gus Poyet I reckon for MK next. Whoever it is, I hope they take them up this coming season, I do love a bit of MK.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 30 June 2009 Author Posted 30 June 2009 Surprisingly the Blackburn fans want to keep him now
The Doctor Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Posting that our chairman is a drug addict is quite frankly ridiculous and you know as well as I do it was completely unnecessary. there is still a lot of negative vibes towards him though and rightly so in my opinion. after all what he did was ,in essence, steal someone elses club.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 30 June 2009 Author Posted 30 June 2009 Another large amount of compensation coming in. £2m was quoted
Joe. Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Gus Poyet I reckon for MK next.Whoever it is, I hope they take them up this coming season, I do love a bit of MK. Good shout, considering he's confirmed his interest in at least two manager jobs recently. On gut feeling I think Di Matteo will do well for West Brom, and they'll probably win the league again.
Ultra Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Not sure. Di Matteo is unproven at Championship level. His success may depend on how many players he's able to keep.
Radovan's Caravan Posted 30 June 2009 Posted 30 June 2009 Posting that our chairman is a drug addict is quite frankly ridiculous and you know as well as I do it was completely unnecessary. Mr Essex did not say that and should be congratulated for providing this forum with important information. I have long laboured under the misapprehension that Winkelman's dishevelled appearance and ravaged countenance were the result of chronic alcoholism. 'A footbal club chairman and a property developer indeed. I'm sorry but you'll still have to come down to the station and give us a statement.'
foxoffderby Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 I can see simon cox defo signining for WBA now. Roberto will know all about him from his MK Dons time
StanSP Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 I can see simon cox defo signining for WBA now. Roberto will know all about him from his MK Dons time Cox never played for Dons http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Cox_(fo...ller_born_1987)
Part Of The Crowd Posted 1 July 2009 Author Posted 1 July 2009 Simon Cox never played particularly brilliantly against us so I'm not sure if RDM rates him, I know for sure that he'll sign a fook load of wingers who won't neccesserally be good. He could get Puncheon though/

AFIE is entitled to his opinion and provides the topic with an interesting alternative. Surely you must have expected "banter"? Anyway, I reckon Ince will be a poor appointment. After getting you lot up a year ago, you all see him as a saint. This year I don't think you'll be challenging at the right end, so your fans will turn on him and relise that in reality, Robbie Matthews in fact did an excellent job last season.
Darkzzz_ Posted 3 July 2009 Posted 3 July 2009 MK Dons cherry picked yet again. The demise of the dons part two.

This year I don't think you'll be challenging at the right end, so your fans will turn on him and relise that in reality, Robbie Matthews in fact did an excellent job last season. It was news so I started a topic on it. On a day when this was the best thing to happen to me I don't suppose I would be in the mood for banter. Ince'll do well in my opinion, he knows the players and they respect him. He didn't have any ridiculous fallings out with players that lead him to not playing them for long periods of time (Jemal Johnson, Carl Regan ect) and instead playing players like Mark Wright, Florian Sturm and Shaun Cummings despite them not looking up to the job. Ince also looked alot more clinical in the transfer market, he saw who he wanted, got the best deal for him (usually free) and got him in and the player performed. I know RDM did well last season especially considering it was his rookie year but there were elementary mistakes that cost us promotion when we could of achieved it. These rookie mistakes will be alot more apparent at West Brom and could either lead to him learning and maturing as a manager or to him being 'found out' and given the boot.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 3 July 2009 Author Posted 3 July 2009 Never, I am not a number! Anyway, Ince
