leicesterseddon Posted 1 July 2009 Author Posted 1 July 2009 Somebody's just told me that Newcastle away is on Sky. Has anyone else heard anything? Newcastle away is on BBC........if you support West Brom. Our away match with them is on the 29th August. If the Beeb were planning to televise it, they would have announced it today. And seeing as their first two confirmed matches involve Newcastle and our match at SJP falls between them, it's very very unlikely our clash will be televised on the Beeb. As for Sky, I just don't know...
Nugent Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Somebody's just told me that Newcastle away is on Sky. Has anyone else heard anything? You may be right. I've just looked on the Sky website and they have a Championship game scheduled on the 29th of August for 5.15pm with the teams TBC. Hope it isn't us.

maddog Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Would be nice if Newcastle is on Sky to save all that travelling and cash.
Fosse Boy Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Would be nice if Newcastle is on Sky to save all that travelling and cash. Yeah, I for one hate actually watching my team in the flesh. Who needs to go to away games when you can see it all on TV eh? <_<
Benji Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Yeah, I for one hate actually watching my team in the flesh. Who needs to go to away games when you can see it all on TV eh? <_< Ouch
Webbo Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Yeah, I for one hate actually watching my team in the flesh. Who needs to go to away games when you can see it all on TV eh? <_< Well there be even more tickets available for you real fans. You should be pleased.
Corky Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Would be nice if Newcastle is on Sky to save all that travelling and cash. But what about those going? I can't see them liking a Monday night trip of 200 miles.
Nugent Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 But what about those going?I can't see them liking a Monday night trip of 200 miles. This. Hopefully it's not us getting moved though, I see Forest-Derby is also on 29th Aug, so heres hoping.
Guest ttfn Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 I've been told that it's been moved to Monday night. I'll be fooking fuming if it has
syston_fox Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 I'll be fooking fuming if it has Ditto!!! Livid if it has been moved to that day. I could cope with it being the 5:15 kick off on the saturday but not the Monday night
C-man Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 I've been told that it's been moved to Monday night. Omg if this is true I would love Sky. (For purely personal reasons meaning I could go)

Craig Posted 1 July 2009 Posted 1 July 2009 Reading to Newcastle on the Monday. I would love this. But it won't happen.
leicesterseddon Posted 2 July 2009 Author Posted 2 July 2009 This.Hopefully it's not us getting moved though, I see Forest-Derby is also on 29th Aug, so heres hoping. Ah. If that's on the same date, it's quite likely that will be on TV...I hope anyway. But isn't that Monday a Bank Holiday anyway? Obviously you'd still be looking at a 1.00 AM return to the EM if it's a night game though....
Ford Super Sunday Posted 2 July 2009 Posted 2 July 2009 It is sods law that the furthest away games get shifted for Sky w**ker Sports However, they are sending me a cheque for £45, money which they don't owe me, so rejoyce at that!
