Asha Posted 10 September 2009 Posted 10 September 2009 I've never been a huge fan of Facebook but recently it's started to bore me to tears. Yeah. Facebook hasn't really lived up to it for me. And I'm starting to think that having conversations, a decent number of friends, and poking people i've never met before would be more satisfying in reality.

If you're trying to replace your social life with it instead of using it alongside it you're doing it wrong. If I sound a little bit "TommyG" here, apologies.

Just with the constant farm bollocks and fan check bollocks and the notifications about bollocks and such and such has invited you to this bollocks, it's annoying as fook. Even when you switch email notifications off they still inform you of them on FB itself. I don't care, just let me upload my photos in peace.

You can block/hide those notifications though on your homepage

There are no apps or special boxes. Only available in India and the US at the minute though.

I think they are trying to compete with Twitters simplicity. It won't work. Like the new FB for android, pretty neat, not as good as Facebook for the iPod though.
