It arose to us that we should do a FT pub golf event around Leicester. Either... Every (wo)man for themselves on a scorecard OR..... Ryder Cup style Foxestalk Over 21's vs Under 21's... You wear your teams colours. Facebook Group is HERE If we can get a night arranged it will be a corker!

The game involves visting 18 different pubs, in 18 different locations, drinking an achoholic drink of previously specified choice. The aim is to complete the course, and the winner is decided as to who can complete the course in the fewest number of consecutive 'sips'. The lowest possible score in Pub Golf is 18 shots. This would require 'downing' each drink in one go, and without stopping. Any player taking any more shots that the standard course par of 72 is deemed a fooking weiner. Any form of drink 'spillage' or players puking up invokes a penalty of 2 shots.

You probably could drink 18 pints, but the point pf the game is to take as less sips as possible, so downing 18 pints would be exremely difficult and impossible for me to do!! If I were to play the game, it would have to be shots of sambuca's, or similar, whether i could drink 18 or not I don't know!!!!!

Depends on what sort of time scale you have for each "hole" as well. If its say half an hour per hole its not as bad as it sounds

Would have been 18 if i hadn't schoolboyed a 2 in the first pub by having ice in me magners. Final total was summat like 6 pints of Magners (par 4), 3 Single JD and Coke (par 3), 2 Double JD and Coke (par 5), 4 Sambucca (par 2), 3 Apple Sourz (par 1). Tactically had 2 meals in between including a 12" Subway and Fish and Chips. Started at 2pm rolled up to the student union after 18 drinks at 10pm, steaming. 15 of us started and 5 of us lasted the full night. I remember riding my plastic golf club around the podium next to the DJ at the front of the club like a horsey. Crowd loved it ... i think. I still have that club and it was the only one to make it home.

I am of the belief that my drink holiding abilities are second to none, but this game challenges the most seasoned of drinkers. Subject to Smuts and Singh being in, I am game
