Mansfield Fox Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 Mansfield and Leicester City fan here, was wondering how many Leicester fans would be making the short trip up the M1 on the 21st? I will be abandoning my home town club to sit with the Leicester fans! Any fans wanting help on parking/pubs/eating outlets, will be happy to help. Anyone have any ideas on away following for the night?

foxoffderby Posted 8 July 2009 Posted 8 July 2009 Will be attending both Mansfield and Chesterfield living in Derby they are about 15-20 mins away. Never been to these grounds looking forward to it. Also looking forward to watching N'Guessan play. Were is the best/safest places to park near these grounds, thanks.

Due to the game being a pre-season friendly i think you might be alright behind the away end in the retail park however it is not advised, if you go down "Quarry Lane" which is opposite to the away end and go past the ground, there are many industrial estate parking down there. Alternative parking can be found on the approach into Mansfield on Nottingham Road, there should be Sainsbury's ( Park Lane ) this leads to a huge car park free of charge.
