samlcfc Posted 19 July 2009 Posted 19 July 2009 What is the very first picture? Is it lasers from the ground? I saw some once on the way to a rave in Ingolmells that looked like that but came from one point. LGM-118A Peacekeeper missile system being tested at the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. The lines shown are the re-entry vehicles -- one Peacekeeper can hold up to 10 nuclear warheads, each independently targeted. Were the warheads armed with a nuclear payload, each would carry with it the explosive power of twenty-five Hiroshima-sized weapons.
Libertine Posted 19 July 2009 Author Posted 19 July 2009 Kind of "cliche" now but Stonehenge is incredible. More megalithic sites...

I've always wondered why our governments pretend that they are so worried about a third world country getting long range missiles when we have unbeatable defence systems that could destroy any missile before it even reached us. The UK, US, Israel and all rich western countries have amazing defences that could take out any in-coming missile a few hundred miles before it even reached our shores.
