Libertine Posted 1 August 2009 Author Posted 1 August 2009 Apparantly they only expect it to become some sort of industrial estate, and that wont be for at least 200 years, so I've just read.Did absolutely no1 develop like a 3rd eye or arm? Immature but someones gotta ask it. Not in humans as far as I'm aware. But there have been defects in animals and plants.
Samilktray Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 Not in humans as far as I'm aware. But there have been defects in animals and plants. Oooooeeer. Such as?
Libertine Posted 1 August 2009 Author Posted 1 August 2009 Oooooeeer.Such as? Don't think it was anything physical actually. Certain animals stopped reproducing and maybe changed their habitats a little. Apparently there are some links to thyroid cancer in humans.
Brainy Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 "Although the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and certain limited areas remain off limits, the majority of affected areas are now considered safe for settlement and economic activity."
Father Ted Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 It was evacuated, most people would have died later on I think. I would think so as a result of the gamma radiation given off which would cause things like cancer.
Phube Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 I would think so as a result of the gamma radiation given off which would cause things like cancer. Although interestingly, those that didn't die or radiation, have actually become more resistant to it. We've had a Chernobyl survivor for some Radiotherapy once and the usual dose didn't even touch her, she had to have almost double the amount!
AjcW Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 I know this isnt a football thread but I have always found this stadium and its surroundings beautiful. Seattle QWEST field. Probably just me.
Asha Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 Nothing spectacular, but I've been here at sunset, and it's amazing. Durdle door. I've been here as well, this picture honestly doesn't do it justice, but I can't find a better one. Mevagissey.
Budweiser Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 I know this isnt a football thread but I have always found this stadium and its surroundings beautiful. Seattle QWEST field. Probably just me. Wow. That is pretty awesome.
Pete_foxes Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 You're joking, right? What a tool you are If you were being sarcastic i'm sorry. In responce 9/11 comments... Its not actually that wide of the mark to make such a statement about 9/11, theres plently of conspiricy theories out, which I have looked into a little bit, and not saying I believe it, but after finding out about it certainly makes you pause for thought, read into it yourselves make your own minds up.

Conspiracy theories are designed for middle aged Wankers with nothing better to do in their lives to fill some time during their meaningless days eating microwave meals and jerking off to a youtube video of another middle aged American letting you know how much he hates the government and how they are to blame for everything, even the fact that the mans wife has just left them and he is currently living in a motel just outside fucking texas! I think im done
Daggers Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 It's pretty scary to think the US government would do that to their own people isn't it. It's more amazing to think that your wife is allowed to park in special places and go through larger supermarket tills because of her handicap and yet you are punished by society for not having any outward signs of your mental spastication.

That beats the shit out of my reply
Brainy Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 That one is awesome. Godknows if any of these are photoshopped

Probably just me. Nah, awesome. Those kind of things can be pretty amazing too. Some of the things in Dubai are preposterous but just incredible.
AjcW Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 Ive never seen real pictures of that. Only watched the movie. The Response:
Daggers Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 If pictures of death and destruction on an immense scale strike you as "amazing" then I suggest you get out a bit more or do a touch more growing up.

Its the photography thats amazing not the event. What you have contributed so far is criticism of every one elses pictures.... usefull
shen Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 That can't be real, I mean... People and cars were allowed to pass underneath it?! Dunno whether this counts as an 'amazing sight', but I really like this picture. Shows how fcuking massive the whale is. Except it's a shark
Brainy Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 That can't be real, I mean... People and cars were allowed to pass underneath it?! I like how the first scream you hear is five seconds after the plane passes the fence.
shen Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Not in humans as far as I'm aware. But there have been defects in animals and plants. Really? I remember seeing horribly mutated children who were born in the proximity on television many years after. Stuff like no eyeballs and no arms or legs...
Brainy Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 will be safer if I say these aren't amazing sights, just incase I get accused of laughing at the unfortunate. are the most common pictures on google.
shen Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Kowloon I've read about Kowloon. Such a strange cultural and architectural phenomenon That's beautiful... Mount Fujiyama isn't it?
Fox You Forest Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 I've read about Kowloon. Such a strange cultural and architectural phenomenon Hairy posted a great thread about it and other places too, can't for the life of me remember what the thread was called though.
