It's not the first time it's happened to one poster or another and this site is the worse both for the abuse and for the people it has put off posting. I'd just like to thank the guy for his contributions. I always appreciated his input and hope he reconsiders in the fullness of time and feels able to return. It was obvious he was close to the action and taking considerable risks in keeping us informed. He'll be much missed.

Or something. Honestly, foxestalk is mild and friendly by comparison to many, many web forums I've visited over the years. It's a shame if KIA has really decided to pack in posting here. His posts were always informative, and it was clear he was trying to give as much info as (or more than) he safely could. Of course he wasn't going to be perfect - he was reporting news and conversations, not seeing the future. We do still have some other people on here with inside info, so it's not like we've got to rely on the Mercury or anything. But I for one will miss KIA's contribution. And I hope he can be persuaded to change his mind. That said, with all the gossip and rumours flying around about Milan looking to bail it would be reassuring to hear something definite about the medium/long term future of the club.

I know that KIA isn't the first to suffer, and it just shows the immature mentality of a bunch of cowards who haven't the braincells between them to work out how to get out of bed in the morning. My concern now is that rather than feeling ashamed of their behaviour, knowing what they have done will encourage them to carry on with their cyber-bullying whenever somebody posts something that they don't like or agree with.

Obviously Im a relative newby but Ive been on most the other forums (til I got fed up/bored with one individual being a total twat for months because I dared to not agree with them on something) and have found this one to be by far the best. Its the only one Id post on. Ive had no hassle/abuse/negativity from anyone really.

I hope he blocks anyone who does that. I pretty sure he's not coming back despite my best efforts to ask him to reconsider. If that is the case then those who sent these pm's should be banned. Permanently.

The reason this forum is such a nice place to post is becuase the real idiots get banned and eventually give up and go elsewhere. Obviously we get stuck with some poeple who disguise their iodiocy in longer threads about how protecting a bridge makes you a fascist or how Milan is seen as a Billionaire in Vlod, but generally they leave eventually.

KIA doesn't have to make these claims, i'm glad he does, but no doubt he does so partly to feel a bit special, to feel a sense of importance, which is fair enough, why else would he have chosen that particular name. contrarily, bert knows a lot of stuff but, usually, doesn't want the hassle so he keeps it to himself... and you can see why when he teases the news-whores with a bit of gossip and they all pounce on him. it's kind of like 'life of brian', if you are perceived as some kind of a prophet people will latch on to you - perhaps KIA merely became the victim of his own hype and was duely crucified, however unfairly.. and... Anyone who sent an abusive PM is clearly a complete idiot, but then this forum represents a pretty accurate cross section of Leicester City fans. Go down the Walkers and they'll be idiots everywhere, that's life. Thing is we don't even know that Knowitall has stopped posting just because of the abuse. If he has then I'd suggest that is a little bit precious of him. You've got to be able to withstand a bit of stick (there's idiots everywhere remember) particularly when you have a certain amount of status on a site like this. Personally I'd hope that for every negative comment there's about 10 positive ones, and that's what Knowitall should focus on if he's deciding whether to come back or not. I for one really appreciated his insights and the risks he took in providing them.
