Guest Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 On the whole it's not too bad. Some shifts finish very early and when I'm on earlies I can be finished by 10am (okay, I'm starting at 4.30 which is a bit of a bitch but having the majority of the day to myself is good) Pretty decent staff discounts and related corporate benefits, and fairly stable (at least for the time being)
MC Prussian Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 None - I quit a few days ago. Money wouldn't talk to me.
Daggers Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Have you been on holiday for the last three weeks? Do you not have to go back until September? Bwahahahaha!

General Smuts Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Not as Cushty as Ricky Sappletons I'd love the job of being Ricky Sappleton. I finish my job on Friday to become a bum student again but the benefits i've had are: Use of many Nissan cars paying petrol only, as and when needed. On the internet most of the day Canteen upstairs is excellent. Roast dinner every Wednesday - yes please. Free 5 a-side every Monday night. Access to the addresses of various B-List celebs
General Smuts Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Free biscuits Free 1.5l bottle of Volvic Free packet of Walkers BBQ Rib crisps Delivered to my desk. Thanks. Plus we got free ice cream (Zap and Fab) when it was hot.

Trumpet Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 I get 25% discount at work (John Lewis) , yearly bonus (Last year was 13%), subsidies, benefits, all sorts. Good holiday too.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 Free bus travel, and just hope something doesn't kick off on it, as I will then be expected to do something about it. Only happened twice so far. Not generally a cushy job though as a P.C.S.O. I also once worked for John Lewis. Really enjoyed it too, but felt the need to move on eventually.
Tabou Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 I have been working at my new company for 2 weeks now, hence the reason I haven't been on here yet! But so far it's extremely cushty. More than satisfactory basic. Flexitime. Fantastic Kitchen facilities. . Free Parking. Very engaging and financially rewarding. Only have to report to the boss once a fortnight. On the downside, I'm 100 yards from Pride Park...
Lillehamring Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 This morning i will be working mainly in my dressing gown, on the couch... normally, unless i go out i, will work at the kitchen table, but as i had a few beers before and after watching the jocks get stuffed last night, i have decided to work in the living room as i am feeling a bit delicate... and this afternoon i have to go out a read some things... hard life, eh?
General Smuts Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 Hold tight kids, we have a winner Jealous of the free Zap much? On the downside, I'm 100 yards from Pride Park... I'd have thought you were all about gay pride.
