davieG Posted 4 September 2009 Author Posted 4 September 2009 What times kick-off? If the OS is to believed 11:00am, that's the normal KO time but they do occasionally change it to 12 with very little if any notice. http://www.lcfc.com/page/Academy/0,,10274~1171853,00.html
Granno Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Would go but I'm catching some league 2 action.
Guest Bilo Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Would go but I'm catching some league 2 action. I am sorely tempted by Notts County v Burton if that's the game you mean. Two Saturdays on the bounce without a City game can't be good.

Two Saturdays on the bounce without a City game can't be good. I'm looking at that too. It is a toss up for me between that and MK vs. Huddersfield. Wish the under 18s well though.
davieG Posted 4 September 2009 Author Posted 4 September 2009 Think I'm going commando. That's you're normal state though Doc!

Moves are afoot to ban people from the training ground. Not only while the first team are there but 24/7. Leicester City are not too pleased with parents and fans behavior. Also the local houses in the area are talking about taking Leicester City to Court over the increase traffic at the weekends. The training ground is to have automatic gates and CTTV cameras which will only allow certain people in.

So they can find the money for that and presumably to pay someone to main the gate to keep out the very people that ensure their existence. Why not try and manage it a bit better for fooks sake. If this happens then they proved beyond any doubt that they don't give a fook about the fans.

Sorry again I have to agree with you, but it will happen and I think before the end of the season.
davieG Posted 4 September 2009 Author Posted 4 September 2009 Sorry again I have to agree with you, but it will happen and I think before the end of the season. You know I'm really reaching the point where I wont care and then they wont need to put gates up or any of the other crass things that spoil the game because they'll no longer have me attending. So that'll be some more money they'll have to replace.

I used to live backing onto the training ground (til I moved a couple of streets away) and my Sister still does. Yes the parking is a pain when theyres a game on but Ive not heard of anyone taking action and cant see how they could to be honest? I wouldnt have thought its a court issue but youd probably know more about that than I would! Im a mere local A residents parking scheme is being discussed in the Saffron Lane/Aylestone area I understand (Ultra may know more?) we had a leaflet through asking for our opinion. Id have thougth this could have solved the problem with parking. No one wants to see the training ground closed to fans and a lot of the neighbouring houses kids go and watch games, get autographs from players etc. I heard they were probably moving it and selling the land off anyway? Id be pretty disgusted if they do this banning spectators thing. Did anyone go this morning and can tell us how they got on? I couldnt be arsed to get out of bed
Bert Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 They were 2-0 up, last I heard. Fez was giving me updates. I was gonna go, but I'm too poorly. I'd have no problems getting in anyway.

StanSP Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 What do these people taking action against the club on matchdays expect?? Do they expect to have deserted roads?! Ridiculous.
