Libertine Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 JackRouge, Jaques Rougetete/variations of. Basically my name badly translated into French.
StanSP Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Stan - Given to me by my brother. Playing Championship Manager years ago, and had the very fast commentary on. When Sanli Tuncay was relatively unknown, his name quickly flicked up on the screen, and my brother thought it said Sunil. So then from Sanli, it went to Stanley, and then Stan. Also sparmar. Surname and initial of first name put together. And Neil. Playing football at school. Few mates called me Neil for short and that stuck.
lou Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Crouchy... for obvious annoying reasons. Whys that then? Dont really have one except my beloved brother insists on calling me "Tatty Ead" which he has done since I was about 12 due to my hair being a bloody nightmare first thing in the morning
Flynny Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Crouchy... for obvious annoying reasons. You've got no legs? I get called Michael by some people (i.e. C-man) due to being talked about before I was ever talked to. I'm that cool.
lou Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Long legs, tall... etc etc. You dont go out with Abbie Clancey then?
AjcW Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 You dont go out with Abbie Clancey then? Sadly no.... But im glad im not called crouchy because I look like him(facial wise) its just the height, came from playing football at school really.

Fosse Boy Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Among some of my cricket colleagues I'm known as "Tom-Tom" due to my apparently astounding geographical knowledge. Think all my other nicknames are just variations on my surname to be honest.
Webbo Posted 5 September 2009 Posted 5 September 2009 Web, Webby, Webbo, Webble. Basically variation on the word Web.
