Earlier, British airport security staff and police had foiled a plot to blow up airliners, and arrested three men -Abdullah Ahmed Ali, Tanvir Hussein and Assad Sarwar. The three have been convicted and are awaiting sentences.

But, who's fault is this, it's certainly not the minorities, it's the people in power, unfortunately our nation has molly coddled and added this term 'politically correctness' to our society, rather then curb notions of ignorance is has danced around alot of issues in the thought of 'not wanting to offend', without actually asking those which it's supposed to offend. Exactly the basis of a comment I heard being shouted at a white market trader on Monday - together with a top-of-the-voice invitation, oft repeated, that he should "suck his mother".

A security team is employed at Leicester market but there was not a soul to be seen. Had any white person come out with that sort of diatribe he'd have had the book thrown at him. Especially with young girls present. As it was a black bloke screaming the abuse, not a word was said in protest that I heard.

Come on Thrac, let's get it into perspective. This has nothing to do with race. This is an issue with society, we have lost communal values, people are abused everyday, black and white and there's not one good samaritan around, security or no security.....people will just stand and watch and get on with there lives.
