My interest in music has changed and become more respectful, if you will, which is sort of thanks to some people on here as well. Plus, I know what it takes to do well in this competition - I'm the only person who's been in the final twice. So what if the clique object. This competition is well run by Filbo and a lot of people would like taking part.

FilboFox Posted 25 September 2009 Author Posted 25 September 2009 Just to clear the James. situation up... the main reason for him being dropped was due to the fact that last year, when it came to submitting songs for the week were there any acts without a song submitted, needing to have fairly rapid discussions between the judges on decisions and having to vote on which act to send home, for the most part, he wasn't around enough to be able to make those decisions in time... at one point we even had to second guess what James. would have said because we needed an fairly quick answer. Now, I know it's not a popular decision and it was extremely difficult to make, hard as I'm sure it is for you to believe, and had it not been for those events last year, I would without a doubt have kept James. in but the simple matter of fact is that he was otherwise engaged when he was needed on here. I'm not having a go at him for this as I know it's only an online game and people have far more important things to do in the real world, but for the purpose of this game and this game alone, we needed to make the change. Sorry...

Both have showed a real commitment to this competition over the last 2 years and both seemed eager to become judges this time round. I would like to think that in choosing those two for judges we are getting a varied preference choice in music from all of the judges this year and this will help in the choosing of which songs to send through to the final rounds. I don't choose any person to go through, I base it solely on the song choices... so if you submit a song that I like or agree with as being a good song choice, you'll be high up on my list and have a good chance of making it through.

Give me one example of how it is, especially now with the judges decisions being made openly on the boards... Can't seem to convince anyone that it certainly isn't rigged/fixed on my part... all I'm doing is a competition for people to enter... if it's really that bad then I'll just stop doing it and leave someone else to take charge. Replace me with James... I'm sure that'd suit everyone.

I had no idea he had two accounts when he entered... and eventually the whole thing was sorted and if I remember correctly, both accounts were completely removed from the competition in the end. It is that isn't it? I can't remember who they were now.
