RedHux Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Savage was boo'ed because he courts all that. Sounds like his actions in a game against Brum are pure Savage. He doesn't seem to have any favoured club other then the one he plays for and he successfully manages to alienate any past fans with his childish nonsense. If you like to boo him then go for it, cos he seems to like being boo'ed so everyone's a winner.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 I find that deeply insulting. <_< I apologise, i didn't mean to offend anyone other than Hugo
Guest Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 I apologise, i didn't mean to offend anyone other than Hugo I shall forgive you this time, but don't do it again.
Rocky Dennis Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Bit like Savage when money was getting tight and admin was just six months away? That for me was the club's lowest point...we put people out of work, didn't pay St John's Ambulance and made a load of sub-contractors go bust on the construction of our new stadium. OOOH controversial!! Hope the clubs lawyers arent watching!! Do you know that for a fact?? Having worked on the job I know that a big reason one firm went bust was down to some of their higher paid employees being on site for 16 hours a day doing precisely sod all, looking for one last pay-day before retirement.

Good work fellas.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Was looking forward to the return of the sav. Noticed a sign at the bottom of Kop, it read. "WELCOME BACK SAV" Wonder what reception Mattock would get.
Ultra Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Savage was part of the greatest LCFC team in my lifetime so far, and we may NEVER get to those heights again. Yeah, and so was Matt Elliott. After what Savage did to him for Birmingham, he lost a lot of respect among City fans. Some of our fans prefer to boo opposing players, and swear at opposing fans than support our players. Wow, spotter's badge for you. But is it any wonder, when too many of the current mob wearing the shirt mess up on a regular basis.?.
Bugg Posted 17 October 2009 Posted 17 October 2009 Wonder what reception Mattock would get. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
FilboFox Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 Clough... the greatest manager ever? Nonsense.
BoneDog Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 I booed him and i was playing golf in Cornwall. ;0)
BoneDog Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 If you're talking about scum fans, we need to look at ourselves. Some morons were chanting "He's fat, he's round, he's six feet under ground, Brain Clough, Brain Clough"Tuwaaats. W*nkers
BoneDog Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 For the last time, BRIAN CLOUGH ISN'T THE GREATEST MANAGER OF ALL TIME.JUST BECAUSE YOUR WATCHED THE DAMMED UTD ASWELL FFS. I HATE BRIAN CLOUGH AND I DID BEFORE HE DIED AND SO DID ALOT OF LEICESTER FANS. He's the greatest manager I can remember. I've never seen 'The Damned United' and I love the man. Also got alot of respect for Nigel Clough. Nice bloke, great player and worked wonders in his years managing Burton and hopefully he starts doing well as a manager again, just not with Derby.
BoneDog Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 How anyone can compare Humey to this tosser is beyond me. I have still not forgiven Hume for that penalty miss against Sheff Wed at home the week before Stoke but the man still gets my respect for his work-rate if nothin else, so I agree Oh, what a pee-poor pen that was, I was sat right behind that goal that day and saw it in all it's glory. I like Savage aswell but easily understand why some people don't.
Babylon Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 Savage was part of the greatest LCFC team in my lifetime so far, and we may NEVER get to those heights again. Some of our fans prefer to boo opposing players, and swear at opposing fans than support our players. As has already been said, had he showed us respect in the Birmingham game he wouldn't be getting booed. To stand in front of us and kiss the Birmingham badge effectively cancels out any good will towards him IMO.
Fox92 Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 How anyone can compare Humey to this tosser is beyond me. Because I count Hume as a to**ser, and McAuley and Stearman. Wonder what reception Mattock would get. Can't wait for that match against WBA. Clough... the greatest manager ever? Nonsense. He is the greatest manager that I know of, in fact he should have been England manager. You name someone that has done as good as Clough did and take sides like Derby and Forest from pratically nowhere to winning the European Cup. It will never happen again. There is too much money involved. He's the greatest manager I can remember. I've never seen 'The Damned United' and I love the man. Also got alot of respect for Nigel Clough. Nice bloke, great player and worked wonders in his years managing Burton and hopefully he starts doing well as a manager again, just not with Derby. Totally agree.
Fosse Boy Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 Savage is a twat. He deserves to be booed. Lennon is not a twat. I couldn't believe my ears when some ****** were booing him last time we played Forest. Singing the Clough song is... a) Cringeworthy and disrespectful to someone who achieved a ridiculous amount at what were basically two nothing clubs. b) Smalltime. Why reduce ourselves to that? It's just going to convince Forest and Derby fans that we're petty and jealous and not worthy of a real rivalry because we're so hung up on what they both achieved under his guidance. Besides it's lyrically unimaginative and dull.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 Savage is, was and always has been a very ordinary footballer who makes up for his lack of skill with enthusiasm and work rate, he is the epitome of disloyalty and has dropped himself in the shit on many occasions (the move to blackburn to be nearer relatives was the best!) Heard quite a few comments that an ex city forward around at the same time as savage was quoted as saying the rest of the lads thought he was a willy puller during his time at Filbo. He's the sort of player who will bow to Derby fans and sign for Forest tomorrow. Very true. He is irrelevant, yet the Mercury seem to have their head up his arse. The topic starter on this obviously doesn't remember the Birmingham incident. The man is a t**t. <_<
BoneDog Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 He is the greatest manager that I know of, in fact he should have been England manager. You name someone that has done as good as Clough did and take sides like Derby and Forest from pratically nowhere to winning the European Cup. If the FA had made the correct decision and handed Clough the England job I think we would maybe of had a taste of glory sometime between 88-96. I'm sure he would of worked wonders and probably helped the national side win the Euro's. Taking nothing away from Bobby Robson, who is the only England manager I was satisfied with, but I think Clough would of done better than any England manager of his era. The FA knew this too, but couldn't have Clough going against their rule or whatever it was they were scared of.
Koke Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 He's a massive bellend that blond soft metrosexual-looking bag of shite. He's a cunt and I hate him.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 He's a massive bellend that blond soft metrosexual-looking bag of shite. He's a cunt and I hate him. Thank you, glad someone else hates Cloughie just as much as me.
Koke Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 Thank you, glad someone else hates Cloughie just as much as me. I don't hate Clough. In fact, I admire him. I just found Shrenchel's post amusing. He's fast becoming one of my favourite posters. Edit: Presumably you're referring to my sig, unless you think Clough is a blond bag of shite.
CosbehFox Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 OOOH controversial!!Hope the clubs lawyers arent watching!! Do you know that for a fact?? Having worked on the job I know that a big reason one firm went bust was down to some of their higher paid employees being on site for 16 hours a day doing precisely sod all, looking for one last pay-day before retirement. It's as good as fact. You wonder why the scoreboard can't be fixed? The firm who did it, don't even exist anymore.
The Doctor Posted 22 October 2009 Posted 22 October 2009 For the last time, BRIAN CLOUGH ISN'T THE GREATEST MANAGER OF ALL TIME.JUST BECAUSE YOUR WATCHED THE DAMMED UTD ASWELL FFS. I HATE BRIAN CLOUGH AND I DID BEFORE HE DIED AND SO DID ALOT OF LEICESTER FANS. Brian Clough is definately one of the greatest managers of all time. he combined ability with personality, something no other manager has been able to do. As for the savage "insults" (for want of a better word), how stupid are these mongtards? the people i was sat infront of against derby spend the entire second half shouting "get your hair cut" everytime he went near the ball, i mean if your gonna pay 27 quid to sit in the stand and attempt to insult some-one the entire match, at least put some brains behind your words and maybe then i won't be tempted to turn round and explain that no-one is going to get their hair cut to make sure you don't feel ridiculous for going bald at the age of 17.
