maddog Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 I can't even imagine the pain it will cause me if we don't win Tuesday. So i'm going for a 2-0 win because i have to. I would like to see at least 3 changes overall for this one, in midfield and attack. Campbell and Waghorn scoring. Come on Lesta!!!!! 3 points here and we can forget about the Derby dogshit.
Fosse Boy Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 Could you actually have sensationalised it any more? You should work for the Daily Express or something...
AmericanScott Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 It'll either be a win or a draw. Here's some facts for you: I've never seen us win on a Tuesday night so i avoid these completely now (Tuesday night atmospheres are the best. Love it) Since i wont be in attendance, we will get something from this game. I voted for a lose just incase i shoot myself in the foot with this one. Come on CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Budweiser Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 4-0 City. Absolute riot. Steve gets a double followed by Wellens & DJ.
Asha Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 I can't even imagine the pain it will cause me if we don't win Tuesday. Hope we lose then.
Guest Bilo Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 Need a win so let's hope Pearson can rouse the troops, seeing as he failed against Derby. Mrs Bilo putting in an appearance for this one, may or may not be a bit of a jinx. Can't have that much luck, she is with me after all. Joking aside, I fancy a tight game ending in a 1-0 win for us with a scorer from midfield. Probably Dyer.

You took her to the tigers vs ospreys so if that's anything to go by we're well in for an amazing draw, 6-6 anybody?

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 This is a must win game and although Palace have picked up lately they really arent great at all. Think we will win but I wont be realy happy unless we win by two goals. Hopefully someone other than Fryatt will score too, so my prediction is 2-0 with Oakley and Kermorgant scoring.
Maybes Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 Our record against palace recently isn't brilliant. Warnock at the walkers....... Verdict DRAW
Tommeh Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 MUST WIN Palace have been on a right roll recently, draw will do. Apologies for being a negative bitch but the fact we won't be anywhere the relegation places and without the needed quality for any sort of promotion push dawned on me a while ago.
maddog Posted 18 October 2009 Author Posted 18 October 2009 Going to be even harder to beat them at this http://www.playforyourclub.com/playgame/532/49
Thracian Posted 18 October 2009 Posted 18 October 2009 How people can suggest this is a must win fixture when half the fans seem hapy to settle for mid-table anyway I don't know. It's not a must win fixture in any sense but it is one in which Pearson can try to knit together a more collectively faster, more threatening and more exciting side.
Simo86 Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 I reckon we will get a scrappy 1-0 win tomorrow night. Howard scoring with his arse. A bit like when Hayles scored last time we played them in the league
Jiggers the Fox Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 Got draw written all over it i think, but as previously stated this wouldnt necessarily be a bad result against a palace team who've picked some good results up lately. 1-1 for me
Dr The Singh Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 I would be more then happy with a draw. Colin will know the way we play and have it sussed, it's upto Pearson to rise to the occasion and show some managerial ability!! PS - It's a midweek game and hence i'm going striaght from work and hence will be sober!!
StanSP Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 1-0 or 2-0. Scrappy game. Lot of missed chances. By both teams.
suffolk fox Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 It's going to be a cold no atmosphere Tuesday night game. aka last season against Brighton a dull boring 0-0 draw. I hope not to see us score a goal would be nice. Here's hoping.

It is if we want to aim towards the playoffs. Which is what we should be doing. Games like Derby and Palace at home must be won to achieve that. Aiming for mid-table is pretty pointless in a League where anyone can beat anyone. And none of the teams are unbelievably miles better than the rest. Even West Brom lost a couple recently and Newcastle lost to Forest. Sheffield United, Preston, Middlesbrough all lost at the weekend. Theres no reason why we can't get in the top six, all we need to do is take our chances in games like this. It's not that complicated.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 2-0 loss. Why do you care Be cheering on Sheff Wednesday anyway
C-man Posted 19 October 2009 Posted 19 October 2009 Why do you care Be cheering on Sheff Wednesday anyway Why does it matter where I'll be tomorrow night? Won't you be at home cheering on Arsenal against AZ? Find me a post where I've said I prefer Sheffield Wednesday in any way to Leicester.
