Finnegan Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Face it. It's the best fifteen seconds of a song. Ever.
Libertine Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Just the best song ever really. STREETLIGHT... PEOPLEHOHOWOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Smudge Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 As for great song starts you'd have to go a long way to beat is, Satisfaction by the Stones; guaranteed to get old farts to do their Jagger impressions. The other one I'm very partial to is "Oh Well" by The Green God
Finnegan Posted 5 November 2009 Author Posted 5 November 2009 I didn't mean to give anyone the impression this was up for debate...
stez Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 I didn't mean to give anyone the impression this was up for debate... well it isn't now: ignore the rubbish picture
Fosse Boy Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Better intro than DSB, and as a bonus it's the best video of all time too.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 Finners may like this very much as I've noticed his like of folky music.
acooling08 Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 This is the best intro ever especially with headphones & loud volume from 1.00 to 2.12 although its good from the start: (Bon Jovi, Lay your hands on me) Pure brilliance.
Houdini Logic Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 If we're going with the Dead Kennedys I would have to say that 'Too Drunk To ****' contains one of the best riffs in musical history
acooling08 Posted 21 November 2009 Posted 21 November 2009 What about the music at the start of the F1 on bbc?

potter3 Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 What about the music at the start of the F1 on bbc? That 'intro' occurs about 3 minutes into the song
MikeyT Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 This is the best intro ever especially with headphones & loud volume from 1.00 to 2.12 although its good from the start: (Bon Jovi, Lay your hands on me) Pure brilliance. Good call there!
Jordan Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 Better intro than DSB, and as a bonus it's the best video of all time too. ^ what he said. Close... the album version actually has a guitar intro to that bass intro. Now, I'm not sure what is the best song intro, really, but "Holiday in Cambodia" has certainly the best bass line in rock history.
lou Posted 22 November 2009 Posted 22 November 2009 That Fleetwood Mac one that they used for the motor-racing was good JOy Division - Love will tear us apart I love too
Finnegan Posted 22 November 2009 Author Posted 22 November 2009 Fleetwood Mac - The Chain. "That bit from the F1" is actually the outro, wrong thread.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Tough question even if finners didn't ask it as a question First song that comes to mind is Club Foot - Kasabian.
